Went with my parents. Nice atmosphere with low lighting inside. My mom and I had the meat lasagna and my dad had spaghetti and meatballs. There was a choice of soup or salad with the meal. My dad and I had the clam chowder and my mom the house salad. We all enjoyed our entrees and the clam chowder was great! They served some bread with oil and herbs and tomato pesto! Linguini with clams and mussels are good. Cod special with marinara sauce, not so much. Cod had to be cut with a knife. Disappointing as we've had very good meals there during our several previous visits to da sesto.

I have been eating at DaSestos since they were a best kept secret in Tampa Bay. They were amazing then and they are amazing now. I favor the Penne Alla Sesto and Mushroom Ravioli, they'll mix and match pasta types and sauce types. They recently catered my wedding with these pastas, cocktail hour apps, and tiramisu dessert. Wow. That pretty much sums it up. The food was so good I seriously can cry just thinking about it. I see why they've been named best Italian Restaurant in the Bay since 2010 without hiccup. Be prepared to wait for your food because you cant rush perfection, everything is made to order in house. They have a beautiful dining area both inside and out.
