I can't recommend D&O highly enough! I had originally taken my daughter's bridesmaid dress to a lady who claimed she could do dress alterations - but she completely butchered the dress and I thought it was ruined forever! But by some miracle D&O managed to undo all the bad work and alter the dress so that it now fits perfectly! Very happy daughter and mum! More...

Fantastic, fast and friendly service! I took my favourite pair of trousers to be repaired as sadly the zip had completely broken. Luckily, D&O were able to transform my trousers and they are now as good as new! I was so pleased with how quickly my trousers were repaired and for an extremely reasonable price. Fantastic service. I bought my wedding dress from Wed2b and needed it taking in and taking up. The dress had a number of layers so I imagine it wasn’t an easy job, however David only had to look at my dress to know what needed doing. I also had some poppers added so that I could add and remove my straps which meant I had three different looks on my big day, these were strong and the straps stayed in place all evening. I recently used D&O alterations to alter my bridal gown, two bridesmaid dresses and husband's wedding suit trousers. I just want to say again what a superb job you did on all of the items! Having a precious and expensive bridal gown that needs to be altered and handing it over to someone to cut up and alter can be somewhat daunting. I had no reason to fear with you. From the beginning you explained what work would be required and how you would go about doing it. You put me and my bridesmaids at ease during the fitting process and gave your expert opinion on the alterations to be done. I trusted you to do a good job and take care of my dress – which you did.
I am extremely pleased with the work that was carried out. Besides taking my wedding dress in at the waist and on the shoulders so that it fitted me perfectly, you were also able to shorten the dress without changing the look of the scalloped edging or beautiful train. I had so many compliments on the day, the dress looked like it had been bought to fit, not altered at all! For the quality of work carried out, your pricing was very reasonable.
I have used you many times in the past for general clothing alterations and have recommended you to others for this service. I would not hesitate now to recommend you to friends, family and colleagues for bridal alterations also. More...

Brilliant service. I fell in love with a dress that was unfortunately too big but despite my initial "I don't want a dress that needs altering" I had to have it. The process was friendly but professional, I had to have quite a few things done such as the bust taken in, the waist and shoulder straps taken in, replacement button and hoops, the length needed shortening and also added hoops and bows to tie the dress up at the back for dancing ! I can't thank Linda and Dave enough for the alterations they made on my wedding dress. After buying and receiving the dress I discovered that there were a couple of things I wanted altering and contacted D&O. They were absolutely brilliant from beginning to end! After only a couple of visits and some contact with the original designer I had the dress of my dreams. Thank you so much and I shall be back soon for further alterations!
