What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting clients and potential clients and helping them to express the real vital messages about their business. (Phone is great too, or Skype - whatever works distance-wise). Getting to hear why someone is passionate about their business and then turning that into effective content is what the business is all about.
I also deliver writing skills training and there the great joy is converting someone who thinks they can't write into someone who knows that they can.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've been self employed for over 25 years. It is simply the best way to deliver the writing and training services that I offer. I love the variety of work that comes along as a freelance and the constant new challenges.
