This was an awesome breakfast place. There was a lot of stuff on the menu that I had never heard of and I'd love to go back to try more, especially since I stuck to pretty basic eggs, potatoes, and sausage. But it was all excellent!! And the waitress was very helpful, letting us know that instead of getting the birds nest with gravy on the side, we could get same thing for less money by ordering a la carte. More...

Being a busy Sunday morning and our party of 15 were over 20 minutes early for our reservation they were grace themselves . Having been in the business for 30 years myself they handled it well . I had a chuckle when our waitress pulled out a legal pad to take our orders . Great thinking . She was great . The food was great as well . Good sized portions . Only complaint heard was that the coffee was kinda weak . Any coffee I drink outside of home is weak to me , I make it 2-3times stronger at home and bring it with me so no complaints from me . Amazing little mom and pop.I tried the shepherd's pie and a later date the meatloaf special.Both tasty, filling and freshly prepared. A place like this is endangered and rapidly disappearing . One of my all time favorites....some of the best breakfest in town and a large dinning room unlike most breakfest places that are uselly cramped in space. The staff here is awsome and will go out there way to make sure you get what you want, and the owner cyd is incredible most of the time you will see her around the restraunt and kitchen and greeting customers ....and also they added a new feature where you can order food online thru a local delivery company called got chew. So now on then rainy days you can sit back watch tv and wait for you favorites to be deliverd right to your door. Cyds is a must for anyone in the new bedford area. More...
