What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Like most creative subjects, it's about telling a story. In photography its about conveying what the the story of the frame you see, whether its the determination of the individual or the sweeping beauty of nature. In my portraiture photography I try to get to know the subject and tailor it to the needs of them, choosing specific locations that match this. Events are all about the mood of the moment, the majority of the time being joy, and landscapes are about smaller stories in grander settings.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
The biggest part is establishing the goals that they want for each project, so that I am able to tailor it around them - An actor looking for dramatic roles needs to be tackled very differently to a promotional content for a bar. Establishing clear end goals for each project means more efficient production, and a better product for both parties!
What do you love most about your job?
The fact I get to create lasting items - My biggest passion is creating photos and videos that stand out and having the sense of pride and accomplishment to say "Hey - I made that!"
What inspired you to start your own business?
The feeling of building something that was mine. Since before college I've worked a day job that paid the bills but I've always had this drive and ambition to create something for myself instead of continuing on in something that I'm not passionate about, with the end goal of it being that I can do it full time.

The past four years of working in photo and video production have given me the most important lesson when it comes to video & photo production - experience. Knowing what is and isn't possible during production, forseeing and reacting to problems before they arise and having all the necessary production capabilities to produce stunning end results give me the ability to adapt to any project needed, and be able to advise you on how to achieve the goals you want for your project.
