Please, LOOK NO FURTHER, this is the company you want to use if you need fair pricing, quality work with plenty of selections in fabric, and AMAZING customer service and communication regarding your order/repair.This was the first time I used Cut Yardage to repair my furniture and they provided 5/5 stars in customer service and quality of work. I needed a bench seat re-upholstered for our modern dining table and Doug was wonderful in communicating with me regarding questions, pricing, what to expect, and time frame of when it would be complete. The rest of the staff was wonderful as well, but I will always remember Doug and the amazing service and communication he provided me. I felt like he really cared about me, my wishes for my bench seat and my satisfaction with his work. Our bench seat was worn down from wear and tear and had some holes in it. I wanted to get as close as possible to the same fabric to reupholster it with and Cut Yardage didn't disappoint with my wishes. My bench seat looks amazing, like brand new again!! I'm 100% satisfied and happy with Cut Yardage and the work they provided to our bench! They even provided free delivery of our repaired bench seat back to our home. We dropped it off at their showroom shop, of course, provided payment and went over details with amazing staff who were knowledgable and caring. But when they told me they would deliver it for free back to our home in the Sacramento area when it was fixed, I was stoked! My experience with Cut Yardage was very positive from beginning to end. I chose this business after reading all the 5star reviews on the Internet. They reupholstered two French style chairs for me. The cost initially seems high, but It included new cushions, double welting, webbing tightened, no charge white glove delivery, and it cost much less than another well known fabric/upholstery chain. My chairs look better and are more comfortable than when they were new. The two gentlemen who delivered the chairs were just as helpful and courteous as Carol, Faith and others I dealt with. Been looking for months for an upholsterer for a leather chair & ottoman. No one returned calls or emails. Got a referral for Cut-Yardage and am so happy. Their service is outstanding and they have been prompt with all communication. There was a vast selection of leather in addition to many fabrics on hand. We priced new chairs but did not find anything we liked nearly as well as the style of our existing chair. The leather we chose is softer & higher quality than when the chair was new & nicer than the new chairs we considered. They re-padded the cushions so the comfort is excellent. Faith was able to bring together a collection of fabrics for us to choose from, which made our window seat a fabulous focal point. She really listened to our needs, and also had a great respect for our budget.

This company is sensational. I send yards of fabric to Sacramento and back came the most beautiful pillows imaginable, at a very reasonable price. Their website shows photos of different styles, so I used that to decide on the looks for each pillow. And they were kind enough to deliver them at no charge to my home in San Francisco! Now that's service! After a few weeks I felt that the pillows were a bit too large for our sectional, so I reached out to the company to see if they could resize the pillows smaller, and they could, again at a very reasonable price. Now we have the perfect size pillows and are SOOOO happy with how they look and feel. I will definitely use Cut-yardage again, both for pillows and for upholstery. If you looking for a place to get your upholstery work done, you can stop looking now! Cut-Yardage is THE place to go! I called several shops to get my settee reupholstered, and they either quoted me an arm and a leg, or they couldn't complete by the deadline, or I just didn't feel they knew exactly what I wanted with it. Cut-Yardage was a breath of fresh air from the very beginning! They replied to my message the very same day (after business hours) and sent me an estimate the following day. I just had a feeling this was the right place because their customer service really is about going above and beyond. Their price was lower than most businesses I contacted and they worked with me about getting the fabric I wanted. The settee looks absolutely beautiful now! They completely redid the webbing, changed the tufted buttons, made a new cushion for it, and just absolutely perfected it! They even polished up the legs of it too. I had an old chair of my grandmother's that had seen better times. I had purchased fabric to match the pillows on a new sofa. I emailed pictures to them and received an estimate for reupholstering and new padding.

They came to my house to pick up the chair which was a lifesaver, as I didn't know how I would have gotten it there(free pick up and delivery)! I was a little sad watching Grandma's chair being carried off, however, the day it was carried back, I cried. It turned out so beautiful!! The workmanship was excellent and they even polished the wood on it.

After looking 3 years for an upholsterer for an inherited sofa from  the Grandparents, and ultimately checking reviews on Yelp , I  selected Cut Yardage.  The whole process of picking fabrics and having my precious sofa  picked up was fast.  Turnaround time approximately 3weeks and I must say well worth the wait. If only all stores had customer service like these folks the world would be a happier place. I called and asked them if they carried cord for a broken Roman shade. Doug told me they did, how much do I need. and yes, he mailed it to me. I have never been in their store, I live in the foothills, but when I'm ready to reupholster my couch I am going to see them. Cut yardage did a beautiful job recovering a 16 foot valence for my kitchen and nook area. They used a geometric indoor/outdoor fabric that I provided and got everything lined up and matched perfectly. The back was also finished very professionally. It did take them a couple weeks longer than they estimated, but I had told them that I was not in a big hurry. I took a custom-made bed cover to be repaired as the backing had been shrunk when improperly cleaned. The staff at Cut-Yardage was extremely helpful in selecting the replacement fabric, providing a reasonable quote. The repair was done in a very timely manner. The quality of the work was excellent. Over the course of the last couple of years Cut Yardage has reupholstered just about every piece of furniture I own. It's very hard to find a quality workroom that doesn't up charge for COM or come back with an add, however the pricing on the business website is the price you pay and that's very refreshing. I have never had any issues with Cut Yardage, the owners are onsite and it would appear the staff has many years of experience and have developed fine eyes for detail and are very capable of redesigning a piece to give it a modern look. Cut Yardage took my smooshed and out of shape couch cushions and made them new again. When I went in I was helped quickly and with a smile. I had some questions about firmness of the new cushions and the staff was knowledgable and helpful.
