10/5 STARS! Went above and beyond, exceeding my expectationsLast minute, I searched for a singing telegram to surprise my boyfriend at work on his birthday. George was incredibly timely getting back to me, instantly personable and easy to talk to. I chose a custom skit, song and a character and George was able to deliver as promised with a spectacular performance that could only be topped by Steve Carell himself. Yes, that's right, I asked for Micheal Scott's alter-ego, Prison Mike!!! And he sure scared my boyfriend straight! He had such a small amount of time to get the role down and he amazed my boyfriend and his co-workers, everyone knew who he was instantly. George went above and beyond any reasonable expectation for the custom singing telegram I hired him to deliver to my best bud's bachelorette party. He wove all the funny stories and gruesome details and silly anecdotes into a creative, hilarious and totally charming song - which he delivered in a clown fish costume, topped off with scuba flippers. George even printed out the lyrics so the recipient could keep them and cherish them forever. (She cried and laughed throughout the entire delivery.) George was super accommodating, easy to work with and an all around fantastic entertainer. Amazing! My boss was getting ready to leave and we wanted to make it special for her on her last day with us. The performance went off without a hitch. Correspondents prior to the event were timely. I opted for the custom lyrics and I was not disappointed! As a matter of fact, he surpassed my expectations by far. The only downfall is that the song that he wrote was so awesome that I memorized it and I had it stuck in my head for days, but that's my fault, not his. I endorse George's singing telegram! I was the lucky recipient of TWO and even had custom lyrics delivered. He surprised me at the Denver airport, fully dressed up in costume. This fellow did a wonderful job serenading my father and brother on their birthdays. Â I was able to arrange everything via email, and the singer did a great job making the audience and their families laugh and enjoy themselves. Some other family members and I hired George to perform at our birthday brunch for my aunt's 60th. Â He was so pleasant to deal with preparing for the event, and made it easy on us by giving us his e-mail address so we could just send him a list of facts about my aunt for him to personalize the number. The day of, my aunt was so surprised and George had done a fantastic job creating a custom tune set to "The Way You Look Tonight"--but more upbeat, and with a guitar. He even gave her a printed-out set of her lyrics along with a note telling her who the telegram was from (on nice cardstock!). He finished the performance with a rendition of "Young at Heart" that was requested, and he did it all for a very, very reasonable price. He made the entire experience very easy and fun, and made everyone comfortable with his cheerful and goofy attitude. It was not one of those singing telegrams where the recipient feels incredibly embarassed and self-conscious the whole time. My sister and I hired George to create and deliver a birthday party invitation to our Mother in song. Â He did everything we asked for and more! Â Dressed in tuxedo, he arrived timely to sing to her the invitation to dinner that he had created (with our input) to the tune of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me To The Moon." Â After the song (great voice, too), George delivered the printed invitation to her personally and even sent me the voice file so we have it for posterity (my sister forgot to video). I hired George to serenade my little sister on her 40th, and his creativity and flexibility made the whole experience a delight. Â He dressed as the grim reaper, gave her a medley of three songs about how old she was, and sent my sister's entire office into hysterics--my sister spent half the time trying to figure out if she knew who he was, and the other half trying to figure out who came up with the idea to send her a professional singing telegram.George is awesome, and he even delivered a bouquet of dead flowers, to go with the theme!
