We have used Custom Audio Video frequently over the last 20 years and have always found it easy and enjoyable. All the audio/video design and work was done for the home we were building. Custom Video has always been flexible and willing to work through projects with us. Most recently they have helped and supported us in a difficult situation with motorized shades bought elsewhere. Having used CAV to update the AV system in a vacation home Sandy and her team were the obvious choice to handle a full wire and install at our new construction on Daufuskie Island. We requested wide range Internet, phone lines, gaming outlets, zoned speakers throughout, multiple TVs, Control4 smart system. The whole team was delightful to work with. The estimate was thorough, and there are no surprises with hidden fees. I never felt silly asking questions about tech items. We also had CAV install electric shades that are controlled by the TV remote remote, a touchpad or our phone. Jonathan set up all our electronics and showed us how to use everything. If I forget my lesson or get stuck I know I could call Charlie or James and they would figure it out. They show up on time and clean up before they leave. Who else does that? Custom AV installed complex home audio/video/digital systems in my house two stages adapting older technology that was previously present and seamlessly incorporating new technology. I work from home and must have simultaneous access to several programs that include medical imaging, so I need internet speed and reliability. The local cable provider was unable to solve issues with both until Custom worked directly with them. This was beyond excellent customer service!

The knowledgeable system designer listened to my needs (including ease of use) and budget and thoughtfully researched each component. The technicians always arrived on time, did their work and patiently answered all my questions.

CAV provided configuration, implementation and continued support for the original 6-figure entertainment, communications, whole-house system. Designers worked to conceive a personalized system which included televisions, telephones, high speed internet, and Apple TV, available in all rooms with individualized room controls.
