Being asked to be the one and only bridesmaid for my bestest friend was such an honour then I slightly panicked at not being able to find a lovely plus size dress, I need not have worried. ...Curvy Chic is 100% the place to go, I was made to feel at ease straight away by Cate. There was such a selection of dresses to try on and first dress I tried on was just perfect, I was so surprised that the sample dress was too big after all the worry that of not being able to try on a dress without them all being too small. We ordered the dress in a different colour and oh my goodness is was gorgeous! And just the perfect colour for the bride's colour scheme and vision. Rebecca made me feel so comfortable at the fitting when the dress arrived. I felt amazing in it on Friday past on the big day and everyone complimented it asking where it was from. I can’t recommend Curvy Chic enough. Emma and Debbie were kind, supportive and informed. I had a terrible experience being a plus size bride elsewhere and was dreading this aspect of wedding planning. But they made it so easy; were mindful of my budget, my shape and my opinions; had recommendations for styling and encouraged me out of my comfort zone. I bought the very first dress I ever tried on (though still tried on others to be sure); it is completely not the dress I ever thought I’d go for but it’s absolutely The Dress, I knew as soon as I got the first glimpse of it on my curves. I called to Curvy Chic Bridal today with my daughter to look at formal dresses. We were greeted by the lovely Emma who helped my daughter pic some styles of dresses and she absolutely loved the one she picked and bought. I found the dress of my dreams today. We were greeted so friendly and warmly, making a nervous experience less so. The dresses were beautiful and looking though them was lovely. Emma was soo attentive, informative, friendly and definitely knows her stuff, as after trying on a few gowns, Emma said she knew of a dress that would suit me and it is the dress that I chose. I had my first bridal appointment last week, Chloe and Emma were amazing, so warm and welcoming, they put me right at ease! they found the perfect shape for me so quickly and easily and I really just had a great time with them! They kept it professional, but weren't afraid to just have a fun time with me, which was really cool! I got my bridesmaid dresses from curvy chic bridal. I can’t fault the dresses- they are absolutely beautiful and amazing quality It’s also great if you are a plus sized bride/bridesmaid as they hold bigger sizes which most bridal shops don’t. This meant both my bridesmaids were able to try on dresses and see what worked for them. The only let down was the collection. Unfortunately the dresses couldn’t be collected on a Saturday and we all work 9-5 jobs. The only evening they opened was Wednesday which didn’t suit us as one of my bridesmaids went to night classes. There was no flexibility with the no Saturday collections rule which made things awkward as I wanted my bridesmaids to try their dresses before they left the store in case anything was wrong with them. Also I was told they had to be collected within 2 weeks. I explained to them my bridesmaids class was causing issues and asked if we could pick it up on half term (just over two weeks) and they said no as they didn’t have space to store the dresses. (They have since got a new shop so I’m unsure if this has changed). Apart from the collection I had a good experience with curvy chic bridal and the staff were all very friendly. More...

Went I first got engaged I was dreading dress shopping, I was so worried I'd find nowhere that has styles to suit me. After doing some research online I found Curvy Chic Bridal. I booken an appointment and I was going with NO expactations! Once I got there I felt so at ease, the ladies were so nice and made me feel very welcome! I tired on two dresses and feel in love with the second, I was absolutely shocked as I honestly wasn't expecting to find the one! I just picked my dress up today and ended up walking away with my wedding shoes too! The ladies are lovely, welcoming and make you feel very comfortable throughout your appointment. From start to finish Rebecca and the team made my visits very easy and comfortable. I really got the feeling they understood what I was looking for and made sure to stay within budget. When it came to making the decision they were lovely, didn't put pressure on me let me make the decision in my own time. Even taking the measurements was done very quietly which was lovely. I recently bought my dream dress here. The dresses in this boutique are out of this world. My appointment was so special and personal, and i found my beautiful wedding dress the second i walked in the door. I had the most amazing experience from curvy chic bridal, Denise was incredible from when i first entered, right up until i left. .. All my worries and fears, she just stripped them right down and i found myself looking in the mirror, in a beautiful dress for my big day. i fell in love again with a new shape and version of myself. Having been through a lot with my health. i can not recommend this place enough. This was the perfect dress shopping experience. I was made 100% comfortable and at ease and the service was friendly, professional and personal. I travelled from Dublin for the appointment and it was well worth it for the experience alone. I was guided through different styles and was helped choose sillouettes that flattered my figure, there was never any pressure put on me to try a style and they listened carefully to what I wanted and didn’t want.
