Food was tremendous. Had a lovely lunch that was just perfectly prepared and a lovely combination. One of the best lunches I think I have ever had. Wow, but we climbed to the top floor. Not for the weak-hearted. It's absolutely beautiful and the food was great but the climb to the top floor was challenging, for an old lady.

Dropped in for a coffee and couldn't fault the welcome or service of staff. 1st rate (or 5 star). The surroundings and environment are what you see and expect however the ambience is a human factor and that is created by recruiting the best, on-going training and leadership.
Emma the waitress was very efficient and polite in serving and her supervisor/manager was watching over her with diligence and care.
Will definitely be back.

We loved this house! We stayed here for two nights for our honeymoon and it ended up being our favorite place we stayed at in Scotland. It was one of the only hotels that had actual Scottish people working there which made the whole experience feel authentic and enabled us to indulge ourselves in the Scottish culture and history. Our room was lovely and spacious and the breakfast options were great, too. We can't wait to return to the Culloden House one day soon! More...

I was lucky enough to stay at this lovely location this week. I was struck by the history of the hotel, the old fashioned comfort, wonderful food and the excellent, friendly and diligent staff. Unfortunately I was there for work as I would have loved to have had time to enjoy the relaxed surroundings too. I would highly recommend here for a relaxing luxurious break. More...

We stayed here for one night while traveling through Inverness. None of the pictures do this place any justice. This was our favorite place we stayed in all of Scotland. The grounds and property are lovely, you truly feel like you're stepping into the past and enveloping yourself in the rich history of the place. Our room (we booked the #12 suite) was stunning (and the largest room we stayed in during our trip to Scotland). Everything about the room - and the property itself - has all the feel and charm of a 200 year old estate. We loved having a nightcap of whisky in the lounge - and taking a stroll of the grounds (including the wonderful walled garden) the following morning. The staff was excellent, as was our breakfast.
