Culinary Capers catered my cocktail wedding of 120 people in August 2019 and everything about it was perfect. The wedding was at their event venue Waterview, with a spectacular view of Falsecreek, Granville Island and the Burrard Bridge - it was absolutely stunning! Working with Jennifer was seamless. Her attention to detail, creative suggestions and response time was excellent. We got outstanding comments on the food and presentation (hot and cold passed hor's d'oeuvres, food stations), signature drinks (so fun!) and our guests raved about the evening!I would highly recommend Culinary Capers as we had a fabulous experience working with them and they made sure that everything we wanted was looked after. We use them every New Year's as we stay home, and for any catered event at the house or office. They are, simply put, spectacular. A week ago, me and my then fiance had a small gathering for our civil wedding. We ordered food good for 20 and everyone enjoyed the lemon basil chicken especially the roasted veggies that came with it. I was a little nervous if the amount of food was ok since we ordered just exactly good for the number of people we had. Culinary capers did not disappoint we had plenty of food left and also I appreciated the prompt setup time and that they were pretty flexible on the pick up time for the food equipment at borrowed for the buffet. Two weekends ago, we hosted a wedding rehearsal party in our backyard, and Culinary Capers staff arrived promptly at our house to begin preparations on what would be a truly memorable evening. Aidan and his servers were polite, efficient, professional and friendly! The food was delicious, and at the end of the evening, the kitchen was spotless.
