I had three doors fitted by a very courteous and professional young man called Michael. Nothing was too much trouble for him. He carried out the work quickly and expertly. I had visited the showroom previously and was happy with the expertise shown by Michele. The same can be said about Mike who had come out to measure up with his magic gizmo. Following the reviews I was hesitant and sceptical, however I prefer to give my work to local companies so decided to visit their offices/showroom. The conversation with Michelle quickly eased my uncertainty, whilst she acknowledged the recent poor customer experiences she gave me confidence that those issues were behind them and she was brought in to help the business recover and grow.I proceeded to order 9 internal Oak Doors, handles, hinges, locks etc. The experience from that point was brilliant, the initial digital measuring ensured the best fit we have ever had, both to the new build extension and the existing 80 old wonky walls!The doors were expertly fitted, on time, on budget and no mess with attention to detail and perfect finish.I’m glad I had that initial conversation with Michelle and gave this company a go..... a great decision by me, thrilled with the end result and highly recommend this company, and that’s from someone with high expectations!Wishing them nothing but huge success in the future!! To be honest having read some reviews a couple of months ago I was sceptical, however I always have a preference to give my work to a local business. Cannot understand the bad reviews. We went to their site and received a very warm welcome and guidance from Michelle. She discussed our needs and gave us a provisional quote which we ultimately selected and paid the deposit. The fitter, Michael, arrived before the expected delay given to us the previous day. He has a excellent work ethic. After 2.5 hours we had 5 superbly fitted new doors. The whole experience lasted a month from initial visit to completion. I would highly recommend ordering internal doors from CSM, Knowsley. I cannot fault them at all and have to say I was concerned about bad reviews on their website (although most were lack of communicaiton and not workmanship). Despite reading some of the previous reviews and a visit to CSM doors we decided to appoint CSM doors to supply and fit 10 interior doors. Firstly the customer service we received from Michelle was second to none ( the main reason we opted to buy from here ) Mike the owner came out to digitally measure up and went through the process and advised on the waiting time 3/4 weeks which was adhered to.The fitter Mike arrived earlier this week and what a job he did, he was quick clean and left absolutely no mess, he has an incredible work ethic. The doors all arrived cut to size with handles and hinges already fitted and doors pre primed. The 10 doors were fitted in one day and the doors we purchased were Treviso and are of very good quality.I was totally impressed with the digital measuring which means all the work is carried out in there factory before they arrived at my house.We can't thank CSM doors enough as from the start the customer service we received was as good as anywhere and the finished product is great we are thrilled with our new doors.I would without doubt recommend CSM doors as a place to go.Thank you More...

I won't go into much of the details. Paid in full, then after a 10-week chase during which I was mostly ignored (voicemails every day with no response etc. ), then told me they had ordered the wrong doors. I then cancelled the whole order. It's a week later now and he won't refund my credit card - although he said last week he'd do so immediately - has asked for my bank details, which I have refused to provide, because god knows what he'd do with them. I don't know if they are incompetent or actually criminal to get your money, but this is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Last year I ordered and paid a deposit for 13 internal doors. At the time the company had lost several tradesman so communication was lacking. Eventually we got to speak and though 8 weeks later than planned the doors were fitted. I have also read the reviews placed by others BUT i have to say that the finish of the fitted doors was excellent, the tradesperson who fitted was extremly pleasant and the work was carried out to a very high standard. There was a slight snag ( it happens) but within two days of me contacting them this was sorted out. Can I start by saying I was worried about getting a company in to do work to my house.Now can I say, ‘what was I worried about’ There are reviews for this company that say ‘don’t trust them’ ‘they never get back to you’ ‘poor communication’ Well. Let me tell you that they are all wrong.They have fitted ten doors for me and built one for an under stairs cupboard. I am a very very very picky person and very hard to please. The job they have done is nothing less than perfect. They answered the phone every time I called, did all they could to help me. And the cost was the same as I could buy them, finish them and fit them myself. If anyone gives them a bad review I would have to question their motives because they have done a top job for me. needed 5 doors for the upstairs of a hall and landing. after a few internet searches i came across csm doors and liked the idea of the doors being prepared with handles etc before fitting to save time. Anyway i was in work on day of the doors arriving but my son was home to let the joiner in. it was only 2 hours between the text he had arrived to he had gone . That was on 5 doors and a bathroom one which had a push button lock fitted which i had supplied with the other handles. CSM supplied the doors hinges & latches. Well after the son sending me a photo text i thought it must be alright and it really is. The wife is happy as well ! Also so easy to pay via card over phone and they send email invoice . My experience of CSM is very positive. Would recommend. Having had a very poor experience with another local door company I was keen to find another local supplier who could source a set of double oak doors, one oak fire door and two standard oak 1930s doors. I was particularly attracted to CSM because of their unique and modern process for measuring, shaping and fitting doors and so I gave them a call to see whether they could help. Greg was very helpful and was able to help me source all the doors I required (fully finished) for a good price. CSM supplied the double doors, fire door and one of the 1930s oak doors and my builder fitted them. All the doors were delivered in good time and have a good finish. When the dropped of the doors they measured up for the final door. The final door was fitted by CSM however due to ongoing building works we opted to wait to have this done. Getting back in touch did involve a little chasing however once back in contact the guys were helpful and kept me informed. The fitters came to fit the door and were in and out within the hour. CSMs unique measuring and machine door shaping service meant the door was a perfect fit and there was almost zero mess, and what mess there was was cleaned up. In addition, the fitters wore shoe protectors on their feet and were polite and courteous. It is such a pleasure to find a sound, reliable company who provide the service their website advertises. The measurement technique they use is brilliant producing the best fitting doors I've ever seen. And the factory pre-cutting and finishing means four doors were fitted in two hours by their technician as locks and handles are already cut and fitted so it is only the frames that need preparing on site. I did a lot of research before I settled on csm doors.sometimes the cheapest quote isnt always the best quote, but in this case it was. I was interested in having 8 oak doors supplied and fitted and mike came out promptly and did a measure up and survey 3 weeks prior to fitting.He claimed all his measuring was done and gave me a good quote and said it would take about 4 to 5 hours to fit all doors.The doors are then cut and shaped to fit the door frames in his factory and then spray finished and hinges and handles attached prior to delivery.mike and his helper turned up on saturday 17th feb at about 10am, they put dust sheets down and hoovered up afterwards and where then leaving at about 2.00pm.the job took them approx 4hrs from start to finish.normally a job this size would take about 2 to 3 days from my past experience of having previous doors fitted many years ago.this was one of the main reasons this appealed to me, the bonus was the cheaper overall price.well done to csm...gary from prescot. What an absolute pleasure dealing with this company. From the 1st contact to the measuring service and then the fitting I could not fault CSM Doors. We had 3 doors fitted earlier this year and loved them so much we have just had the rest of the doors in the house changed.They are absolutely beautiful solid wood and the joiner arrived at the time stated (if not a early which was good) due to the expert measuring technology they use the 6 doors were hung, and fit perfectly, and all within 3 hours. The process was excellent from start to finish and we were amazed that the doors could be prepared so precisely in advance with the measurements taken by Mike.
