Crug Glas Country House Restaurant

What a wonderful place for my son and daughter in law’s wedding yesterday. Nothing was too much trouble from the months and weeks leading up to the special day to the morning itself. Staff polite and extremely efficient. Food was absolutely amazing from the afternoon tea before the wedding service to the three course dinner in the evening. Room (ours was No 3) is a real taste of luxury - bath and shower were incredible! Breakfast was superb - cereal, fruit, salmon, yogurts plus cooked options and copious amounts of toast, tea and coffee. Special mention goes to Sandra who is like a whirlwind. My wife and I loved our stay at Crug Glas in late August. We were housed in the Cottage, a beautiful 2 story accommodation, with the bed upstairs (and a large bathtub which we did not use) and living quarters and bathroom down, spacious and elegantly appointed. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful. We had arranged for dinner at the hotel, which was truly Michelin-star quality multi-course. The wine list was excellent and very fairly priced. Our meal, incl. 2 pre-dinner drinks, a bottle of lovely French Burgundy, happy, mains, amuse bouche, dessert a total of £121, expensive yes but which we felt was excellent value comparing with both American and continent pricing. Wow..... Thank you so much to everyone for making our wedding on Saturday (31-8-19) the most amazing and memorable day of our lives. ..... from the moment we first saw Crug Glas to the moment we left, it has been an absolute privilege to say that we were lucky enough to get wed here. Sandra, you have been incredible from day 1 and we owe a massive thank you to you for helping to make this happen.... The day itself was just incredible, food was out of this world, and everyone in your team played a huge part in making the day such a success. I attended a Wedding at Crug Glas at the end of August this year ! The staff were amazing, polite and helpful throughout the whole couple of days it took to set up and the big day! This venue is so so lovely to have a wedding and also to stay there. The sun was shinning which made it even better as the Wedding was outside so made it even more magical. Food on the night was outstanding to say the least Our room was amazing and immaculate. We had the fish cake and halloumi fries to start, followed by the duck and the lamb. Crug Glas is a very special place. We held my daughters wedding there on the 21st August. They are so accommodating, nothing was too much bother for them. The food was absolutely amazing, plenty of it and hot. The staff were so kind and polite. Sandra the manageress was on hand 24/7. She was amazing. I cannot fault anything at all. There were five vegetarians and one vegan in our party and the menu did not disappoint. We stayed in Room 2, which was extremely comfortable with a palatial bathroom - perfect for a steaming hot bath after a rainy day. The small sitting room area was an added bonus.
