Birthday treat for my partner. They gave us free upgrade to executive room with fantastic views over the countryside. Not a car park in sight. The whole package was great. The best spa hotel I've stayed at in England. From the staff, to the food to the beauitful grounds and Morrocan themed relaxation room. This hotel is 5 stars. 5 star hotel experience.This is an excellent hotel for your money clean, modern and the staff the most helpful. Children go free, if they sleep on the existing bed in the room, but you can ask for extra bed for a child. Spa and swimming pool is excellent and the swimming pool open from 6am to 11am and children welcome at any time. The layout of the sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi allowed you to watch your kids splashing in the swimming pool, at the same time. Of course kids need to be older in order to do that, but very useful if you are a parent. It is a very pretty and peaceful hotel, with the 5 star ambience and service. Really recommend. More...

Lovely rooms, great staff and wonderful licatloc if your after peace. Gold course is good but bland as flat and straight and lakes course is well drained.

Went on an all girls spa weekend. Had a fab time the staff was very polite and accommodating especially where we had members having difficulty with their travel. The people arriving late due to train and transport problems on that day were well taken care of and the maanger made a personal effort to take care of our needs throughout our stay. This resulted in us giving him a round of applause on our final dayear. Would recommend it to family and friends especially if u are seeking the perfect night sleep. Generally a good standard of hotel but not cheap. Couldn't fault the staff and the room was spacious and comfortable. It was also a bonus having a separate bath and shower cubicle, which seems to be rare, even in higher end hotels I stayed at. Prices for breakfast are a bit steep but you can get a discount by buying a voucher at the desk when you check in. The bar is pretty pricey too, but that's not unusual. More...

Walking into the huge reception Hall with a grand piano placed in the middle is quite a sight. The spa and pool are immaculate and although not a golfer I can see the attraction for the courses. The Brasserie has some excellent selection of food at lunchtime the only observations is that some of the meeting rooms are too dark but if you're staying as an overnight guest, that is not a concern! We like this hotel, if not for the people rather than everything else! Weekends seem to attract groups of men for the golfing and groups ladies for the spa.
Quite bizarre to see the ladies wandering around in the white robs all day!
Need to book the restaurants in advance, though not sure why as it was half empty but they would not take in non booked people. Can only assume it was a staffing issue. Not a great selection of food unless you like burger and chips. Could do with a bout of inspiration!
