DJ Tommy did a fabulous job providing music & announcements for our wedding. We knew him from our church & knew he was a nice guy, but we had no idea how talented he was. We gave him a list of songs & he played every one, along with some contemporary hits we didn't know, but were great to dance to. The dance floor was full from the 1st to the last song. His equipment was state of the art, so the sound was amazing. He even flashed colored "disco lights" which made the party extra festive. Finally, his rate for a 5 hour wedding was very reasonable. DJ Tommy from Crosstown DJ’s was awesome. He just did a wedding celebration for us at Eagle Ridge in Lakewood. Contacted him a few times before the event to go over some song choices that we wanted played and he always got back to me promptly.
Great guy and very easy to work with. He had everyone from the seniors to the younger generation up and dancing.

DJ Tommy was fantastic! You could tell that he really cared that my husband and I had an amazing time. Not only was he a great dj, he also gave us tips on how we should handle certain aspects of the reception so that we didn't waste any time. My husband is from Brazil and he made sure to play some Brazilian music, which we both thought was awesome. DJ Tommy was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. First, we only booked him exactly 4 days before the event. Second, he was very professional and pleasant on the phone which helped me not to panick too much. Third, he played the music I requested for the expected crowd, good clean versions only. I would certainly use him again and would also recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ, I would just suggest you not wait until 4 days before you need his services like we did to book him because you may not be as lucky as we were to get him. What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Knowledge and experience play a big role... you have to be able to entertain a crowd of all ages at an event sometimes.... you can’t just play one style and think it will ride all night... except maybe at a Sweet 16... LOL
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I am in my personal life... a pretty fun guy! I like to play the music that will keep the dance floor packed all night... something with a good beat and rolling bass lines is where I have the most fun DJing
What do you love most about your job?
I am inside and out, a “people” person. Extrovert by nature, I love being with people and seeing them have a great time. Life can get busy and hard sometimes, so when people come to a party they want to let loose amd have a good time... I like creating that atmosphere and seeing everyone smile and have fun and sing along... that’s what I love about this job!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I know music very well and love to entertain entertain a crowd. I knew this was the type of business I was created for. Worked for others and new I could do this on my own.
