I offer personal training sessions 1 on 1 or 1 on 2. My full time job is as a Physical Therapist at OrthoCarolina. I have personal trained since I was in college starting in 2002. I have a wide variety of training clients from college/pro athletes, to normal every day people, and individuals with injuries or other special needs.

Joining almost a year ago was the best decision I could have made. The gym is always clean, the trainers are amazing and refuse to let you fail, they push you and teach you the right way to do things and will always be there to support you. Brandon and Michelle are fantastic owners and are always building the community. CrossFit Pineville/RISE has the best trainers, always encouraging & paying attention to correct form. It's the only gym I have stayed consistent with for a year and a half & actually enjoy going to. Highly recommend!!

I'm a bodybuilder/figure competitor and not uncommon for me to occasionally gym hop for convenience, access to equipment, motivation, etc. Tried a free Rise class as a way to replace hours of stair master with a more fun way to do cardio and within a week went through the foundations course and joined CrossFit Pineville. The facility is clean, spacious and well equipped. Great community and camaraderie. Coaches are knowledgeable and modify movements/lifts to safely accommodate skill level, mobility or injuries while challenging you with a great workout every time. Great place to work out. Large facility but still family atmosphere. Great for kids if they want to get into crossfit with the crossfit kids program. They also have a kids area room for those with little ones that still want to workout. They offer highly adaptable programming from those who are just starting, to competition level athletes. They offer RISE which is high intensity workout and great for getting in shape. To keep mobility up and reduce soreness they even offer yoga for athletes. How do you help your clients achieve their fitness goals?
I believe that the key to helping clients has many factors. I believe that making training fun, safe, and effective is a recipe in order to maintain compliance and ultimately reach goals. My background as a physical therapist and expert in human movement sets me apart in being able to design programs effectively.
What’s the secret to getting the body of your dreams?
Consistency. Consistency with activity as well as nutrition is the key.
What do you love most about your job?
I am a people person. I enjoy making relationships with people from all different walks of life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started CrossFit Pineville in 2013 due to my passion for exercise, health, and wellness. I wanted to be able to positively impact the most people that I could.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have an extensive background between training and therapy. I have the ability to combine "physical therapy" treatments such as Active Release Technique and corrective exercises into training sessions if needed. I am able to tailor training programs for my clients at a gold standard level in order to help you improve your overall movement competency, fitness, and overall health.
