CrossFit Inferno is the best CrossFit box I have ever belonged to. The instructors in the classes are both friendly and helpful. The class sizes are big enough that you can build a community, but small enough that you can still receive 1:1 instruction from the coaches. Personally, I have really enjoyed getting personal training from the owner. He is a fantastic coach who helped me with my diet, exercise habits, and lifestyle choices. I would highly recommend CrossFit Inferno for anyone who wants to get their life back on track with fitness & wellness at the center. More...

The gym is located in a tucked away corner off a main street. It's a good size including one gym for the regular members and one gym for the competition team and olympic lifting. The front office is quaint and the lounge is kid friendly with plenty seats to hang out in while waiting to get into a class.Bill Grundler, the owner, is attentive to all the athletes and we were no different. He made sure we felt welcomed and during the workout we performed all our movements correctly. One tip. Some of the members we encountered were a little stand off-ish at first, but once we broke through the tough exterior, then they were ok. If you're in the area though, this would a place to drop in. Simply put...I love this place and the people (Infernites) that I am lucky enough to workout next to daily. I have mad appreciation and respect for all of our coaches. Bill, Dane, Jeanette, Craig, Steve, Robby, Celeste, thank you all! CrossFit is all about striving for improvement, no one cares about your starting point, we only care about your journey. Reviewing as a drop-in. They have plenty of space and equipment at this location, that is for sure. We had a class of 9 at 6:30 am on a thursday so fairly small group at least at that time. Coach Dane was great. Thursdays are their technique day so about half the class was spent messing around with box squats and zercher squats. The WOD was intense. I'd drop in again without hesitation. I have been a member of Inferno for little over a month now. Â I am not a tri-athelete, I am the chubby girl that can't run two blocks. ..BUT I love Inferno! Â Every single member is welcoming and supportive, the trainers know what they are doing, and they are there to help with weight selection, and to give a gentle push when you need it. Â You don't have to be in good shape to start out, I have seen a major change in my body and my abilities in the past month, I work hard...I am there a minimum of 3 days a week...I put the effort in, and Inferno puts the effort back into me. Â No one cares if you are the last one to finish, if you are lifting 10 lbs when everyone else is lifting 100. Â You are there, and you are moving...SO much better than a meat market gym!The new facility is also amazing. Â There are plenty of weights, it is clean, and big...if you have been thinking of giving Crossfit a try, come on in!!! More...

A great feel, fantastic programming, and knowledgeable trainers make this one of the best boxes I have ever been to. I cruised over to their box to do some wods for the open and ended up falling in love with the place. The place was clean and orderly, the judges were top notch, and everything felt polished. Somehow, they still maintained a family vibe that I really enjoyed. The laid back atmosphere had me convinced to go back week after week. Couple that with a great community full of helpful teammates and you have one of the best gyms in the state. Can't say enough good things about Inferno! The trainers are top-notch- Bill Grundler is a world class athlete and the rest of the trainers are no exception. Every trainer is very knowledgeable and class sizes are kept small enough to ensure you don't get lost in the crowd.Intense WOD's but everything is completely scaleable to meet anyones fitness level. Put in your effort, and you will see results. Stronger (I made incredible gains in every category while at Inferno), faster (ran the full SLO marathon with no training runs and going to Inferno about five times a week) more flexible, more energy... It never gets easier, you just get better. To top it all off, it is not just Inferno, it is Team Inferno Family. You really feel like a member of a team and family here. Inferno sets the bar high to what you can expect from a *great* box. Work forced me to move from SLO to Tucson :(, and after trying out five separate places, no one comes close. More...

I am not a gym person, but I wanted to stay active so I can do things that I like to do. Here, most of the workout is structured in groups and pretty much supervised by expert trainers to encourage, motivate, and help you get very efficient and effective workouts that exhaust you. It is very hard work, but the results speak for themselves. Most everyone there seem very friendly and encouraging from the person who is totally in shape to the brand new people just starting out. Nutrition is promoted and all the workouts can easily.be scaled by the trainer to fit your fitness needs or disabilities that you might have. More...

The difference between training and coaching is that we design a workout plan specifically for you and your goals. These one-on-one sessions, either face to face or over ZOOM, allow us to connect with you, explain what you will be doing and why, see how you move to ensure you are moving safely to reduce injury but also efficiently so that you are able to make your improvements, and of course root you on along the way! We love to be in your corner and this is where we EXCELL!!
