Great gym. Amazing head coach. This place made the gym fun again for the first time in years. Come check it out. The members are the best part. Sunday mornings are the best.

I’m in ATL a lot for work and have dropped in a few different places. This has been my best experience so far. Great coach, super friendly, and the WOD kicked my butt. I’ll definitely be back.

Joined here 2 months ago, and I have to say this place is quite addicting! The program was tough for me in the beginning (and still is some days! ), but Coaches Daniel, Brandon, and E have been really knowledgeable and helped in scaling the WODs to meet my ability. And I have seen myself improving since the last 2 months - I definitely feel stronger overall and can do more in my daily life without feeling exhausted. I recommend Crossfit Grinder to everybody in the area! More...

As with many things in my life, I did not want to come here but was encouraged to by my wife and let me say, I am so glad she did! This place is phenomenal. It is a discreet store, located off of Roswell Road, near an old strip mall. You walk in and are a bit confused on what to do next. And from there it all changes. We met and had our class led by Daniel and honestly enjoyed ourselves (in a sweaty, exhausted after a workout sense) so much. The class lasts about an hour, with a group no larger than 12 people. The classes are more intimate, in the sense that you receive the 1x1 feedback while not being isolated or alone. The workouts are pretty intense and you'll definitely feel the burn after.Honestly, I was hesitant and was also hesitant to join, but will definitely make the jump after such a great experience. Daniel was amazing and everyone in the class was encouraging and helpful as well. More...

If you are in the Atlanta area and love Crossfit, then I would highly recommend Crossfit Grinder. The atmosphere there is fun and friendly. The coaches I had when I was there was Daniel and Etsehiwot (I had Estehiwot on a previous trip). They both gave advice when needed and also complimented on your form. This gym is a little smaller than other gyms which in my opinion is great. That means a more personalized one on one experience. At one of the WODs I was at, there was another coach (Brandon) helping out as well. He was going around making sure the other athletes were performing the moves correctly and giving advice. It doesn't matter what your skill level is, you will have a fun experience here and maybe even learn something new. I will definitely go back if I am in the Atlanta area to get my WODs in. More...

Loving it so far! From time to time, CFG has a 6 week challenge that includes 3 classes per week and a meal plan. There challenge also includes before/after photos and body-fat measurements. It's forced me to get back into the gym, and the team effort really helps. This is much more exciting than going to the gym alone. There are new and exciting workouts each time. I'm in week 3 of the challenge classes, and I'm already seeing improvements (both in fitness and other areas of life). I also did a one-on-one foundations class with Coach Daniel, which was super helpful as I am trying to transition into the regular Crossfit classes. The coaches I've had so far are all very nice and have made me feel very comfortable since this is my first time doing Crossfit. I'm looking forward to doing more classes! More...

I joined my sister for a workout last minute.  Today was an 'Amanda' workout.  We stretched to start off the class and then started. The coach demonstrated the movements and explained the rep counts.  I can't say I was the best at the individual exercises, as I'm not used to the movements, but my sister has gotten the hang of them and looked pretty good! After the workout, I was drenched in sweat and felt amazing.  I can see this as a great place to learn about Crossfit and build your skills. The gym is a bit primitive, but aren't all Crossfit gyms?  There seems to be what you need to complete the workouts and plenty of room to spread out.  I liked the giant fan at full blast keeping me cool!A day later, I was sore- that's how you know it was a good workout.  Maybe I will join my sister again.. we will see! Parking - Several spots available. I wouldn't worry about it. Building is kind of hidden (if just passing by)... so be on the look out. You'll see a mini lot that's next to the Big Lots strip/parking lot. I really like Crossfit Grinder. Upon arrival, you'll probably see a class/individuals doing their workouts. I was kind of intimidated. Buuuuut, once I walked in, folks were really nice. Sometimes there will be a super cute pup outside hanging out and welcome you :) Space - Medium (2 open connected rooms). Has the necessary items that you'll need for a Crossfit work out. Just be aware that this gym isn't a place full of amenities. Sometimes it's nice to go to a gym that you can just get your workout done without any distractions. They've got a TV screen that shows the WOD and etc. I liked seeing that versus on a randomm board. Daniel has been my instructor each time I've gone. Solid guy! Tempted to go perm with this gym... very tempted. But then again, I'm not a true/huge CF-er. The environment here is one major reason why I felt at home from the beginning. More...

I've been at Crossfit Grinder for about 3 or 4 months now, and am extremely pleased with the increases I've had in my strength and endurance. The workouts are challenging and rewarding, but most importantly, I come here because of the people and the coaches. Crossfit Grinder is run by an ex Navy Seal who has a mission to help anyone and everyone to get fit. I have been a member of this gym since end of last year. The workouts can easily be scaled up or down based on your fitness level. The workouts are designed to provide a whole body workout and I have found my fitness level has improved tremendously in less than 6 months. If you want to experience the benefits of a Crossfit gym then visit Crossfit Grinder. It is located in Sandy Springs on Roswell Road. It can easily be reached off of either I-285 or GA-400. Convenient location. Workouts available mornings and evenings and even open on weekends. Highly recommend. More...
