When we first considered hiring an HR Consultant we were dubious as to the benefit vs just doing it ourselves - and the first couple we approached confirmed that! But since we started working with Crispin Rhodes five years ago, they've become a complete part of the team. Q&A

Building relationships with my clients so I become a member of a team and not just a voice at the end of the phone. Adding value means getting to know the business and its staff. How can I advise people when I don't know the business?

Honestly, hand on heart, I found it difficult to take instructions from people I didn't respect. I have no problems working hard, I just need to understand why I'm doing it. Communication is key and if you can't communicate properly and effectively, then you shouldn't be a manager!!

Because I can speak your language, I have clients in all sorts of industries and pride myself in getting to understand the business and giving no-nonsense advice to benefit the business
