This is the second event I have attended at Crew Club Athletics and both have been excellent. It takes a lot of work to put on a successful fund raiser and these events had all the elements. Crew Club has a great beginner class coached by Renee. I attended and it exceeded my expectations. Renee was very thorough and got us doing the strokes correctly so we wouldn't hurt ourselves. Also to be efficient! Renee was also motivational. The club itself is spotless and the check-in was pleasant. The erg equipment is amazing. The lemon infused towels at the end is an added bonus! The workouts are intense and varied. The trainers are super knowledgable and very friendly. The facility is clean and professional, and has the true feel of a fitness club (complimentary towels and hygiene supplies available for showering)

I have always worked out but had absolutely no interest in rowing. I was coaxed into trying the crew basic-very much to my dismay. I was welcomed warmly, which was nice because I was very nervous about trying this rowing thing. Wow!! What a great workout and what a great environment. I had no idea that you never reach a plateau with rowing! I learned SO much. It is a welcomed change that my body needs. There was zero stress on my joints, yet I could feel the small supporting muscles being worked. I'm going to stick with this for a while. More...
