I worked with Ricky to design my cards for my photography business. Working with Ricky was a seamless process from start to finish. I gave him the idea in my head and he put it all on paper. He went hands on helping me create my logo. What makes a great website?
A website should be able to deliver the main message of the business, person or topic while still being pleasing to the eye. The layout of the website should contribute, not distract from the main content of the website as a means to help ensure the message is delivered to everyone in a balanced environment.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
How soon do you need your project completed?
What types of objectives or goals do you need your project to achieve?
Who is your target audience?
Will you be providing the content and photos?
What types of colors do you want us to use?
What types of features and functionality will your website require?
Do you have any websites that you like that have features and items you want to be seen on your website?
What type of message are you trying to convey with the design itself?
What type of look and feel do you want?
Describe your creative process.
1) Think about the client and what they need. What can we do to solve their problems and help them accomplish their business goals?
2) Based on what service the client is interested in, begin offering solutions. If they are unsure of what they want, offer them the best solution.
3) Based on the chosen solution, begin designing according to client's needs, wants and/or branding guidelines.
4) While designing, use colors that invoke the correct feeling and place content where it can be seen without hassle and projects clearly.
5) Share concept with client and collect feedback.
6) Revise the design according to the client's feedback.
7) Ensure that all of client's expectations have been exceeded, not just met. If the client is not happy, ensure that they are.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
For web or print material, we require the following: content for the pieces, photos, information that needs to be displayed prominently and the deadlines for when the pieces need to be completed by.
What do you love most about your job?
Being creative allows the brain to be able to think through a descriptive process that allows us to examine what type of design and color scheme works for certain businesses and why it works and contributes to the client's exposure and profit gain. We like being able to know that our job is helping other business owners achieve success and contribute to a major part of their life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
There are many small business owners out there who require our services, but do not have the financial needs to obtain them from our competition. We want to be able to help small business owners obtain the services they need to be successful without breaking the bank, so we started Creativity Design Group to offer such services at extremely competitive pricing.
Why should our clients choose you?
We love to work one-on-one with each client to ensure they are receiving not only the product that they want, but to ensure that we know their goals inside and out. Anybody can simply build a website or brochure, but we want to ensure that such materials are bring our clients business and that each client is getting the recognition their brands require.
