What do you love most about your job?
I love assisting people onto the path of personal growth and change. My hope for my clients is that they will become more mindful and aware of how they are affected by negative self-talk, allowing emotions and thoughts to control them, habitual behavioral patterns, and fear of communicating directly and setting boundaries with others. From that place I assist with learning and applying self-interventions which will result in positive internal and external changes.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I had been working in agencies and treatment centers for over fifteen years. I often felt as though I could better assist people through more direct and one-on-one work, so about twelve years ago, I started a private practice.
Why should our clients choose you?
I offer a very non-judgmental and accepting space to explore and examine yourself and better connect with authentic self. I've been told people feel comfortable talking with me, and also that they like my direct approach to whatever they are bringing to the table. I have almost 30 years of working with people as a counselor as well as 30 years of my own personal growth and change journey.
