What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Catching the moments. You can't always create these so when you see them it's great to capture them. Be flexible, patient, engaging and fun. It's mostly about the people in front of the camera so when they feel and know you it's more of a relationship than a session.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
What are they looking to get from their session. Who are they? What do they love? Getting to know your subject helps to be engaged and attune to their personality.
What do you love most about your job?
Meeting different people. Talking with different people. Producing a fun and positive experience.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Wanting to leave studio work, I also became a stay at home mother and knew so many people who wanted pictures of their kids. I also enjoy catching moments. Great images speak for themselves.
Why should our clients choose you?
I'm very relaxed, fun, easy to get to know and I don't push anything. All expectations are out the window and we deal with what is at hand and move forward from there. I listen and try to hit on my clients needs as best as I can.
