On my visit it was very quiet but the meal was excellent and a free pudding finished the meal off very nicely. The Pinot Grigo was very tasty

Had a brilliant time there this Christmas time...excellent food and really great value for money. Good fun DJ entertainment who got everyone dancing. Christmas Dinner at Wellington Park.

After ringing around numerous places for Christmas dinner info and getting ridiculous prices, my family and I decided we would try Wellington Park with its very reasonable £45pp.

We were all quite sceptical about what it would be like as none of us had ever eaten out on Christmas day before, but it's safe to say Wellington Park was outstanding.

The staff were very polite and attentive, the room was beautifully decorated and the food was delicious!

They also had an offer on where if you pre ordered bottles of wine you got them for £10 a bottle instead on £18 which is great value for a venue like that ok Christmas day.

We all agreed that we would book to come again for a fantastic, stress free Christmas Day.

I played here with my 18 piece band (The New Lights Big Band) for an event in the main ballroom on 12th November 2016. Apart from being absolutely great hosts for the organisation having the event, they were outstanding in looking after me and the band. From a mug of tea whilst setting up to bringing refreshments and attending to our every need whilst the guests dined, I can honestly say I have never been so well treated. Had a lovely meal on Valentines Night at the restaurant at Wellington Park. The room was decorated with balloons and there were candles and heart decorations on the tables and bows on the backs of the chairs. We could not fault our meal, a generous prawn cocktail to start and a very tasty penne arrabbiata for main course. Our only complaint is that we could not manage any of the puddings on offer! Myself and my new husband married here 03/11/17 and it was perfect. Firstly throughout the whole process Fiona was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and she supported me through everything. All the staff who worked on the day of my wedding were fantastic, friendly, polite, professional. There was one bar man in particular (unfortunately I didn’t get his name) but he was working all day and he was brilliant, and an absolute credit. Food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, and as myself and my new husband are fussy eaters they allowed me to alter the menu to suite us. I did all my own stationary and centre pieces and they laid them out perfectly for me. I really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The whole day flowed brilliantly. The DJ they used was fantastic and keep the guests dancing. The decoration company JUST4U did a beautiful job and the room looked beautiful. I would highly recommend. Myself and my new husband got married here on 18th May 2018 and it was perfect. We had a few moments were we thought things weren’t going ahead as planned but Wellington Park really surpassed our expectations and Fiona supported us through everything. All the staff on the day of our wedding was fantastic, friendly and professional. There was a man (unfortunately we didn’t get his name) who stayed till after we went up to our room and he had just done a full day and was back the next morning by the time we got up, he was brilliant and is a credit to Wellington Park. The food was delicious and everyone enjoyed it, the rest of the day flowed brilliantly too. The DJ was just fantastic and had everyone up dancing, the dance floor was never empty.
The decorations from Just4u made the room look beautiful.

I stayed with members of my family for a funeral in Leyland. The hotel is comfortable but what stood out was the kindness of the staff.
