Craft Cakes Clt

A relative shared information on Craft Cakes CLT with me and I filed it away for future use. When it came time to get a cake for a milestone birthday for my husband, I decided to give Craft Cakes a try. We normally get cakes from Whole Foods since there aren’t a lot of options for vegan cakes in Charlotte, but I wanted something special. I reached out to Craft Cakes CLT and Brigitte was amazing to work with – professional, responsive, and most importantly, creative. I didn’t have a strong vision for what I wanted, but through our email exchanges, she was able to come up with an amazing design that was a hit with my husband and our family at his birthday dinner. About a month and a half later, it was time to celebrate a milestone birthday for my mom. Once again, Bridgette delivered a tasty, show stopping cake that elicited plenty of “ooohs” and “aaaahs” around the table. Our group was a little over half non-vegan, but everyone enjoyed it. The images on the Craft Cakes CLT social media pages make it obvious that Brigitte means business when she says “food is art”. She has delivered a work of art each time that I have worked with her. I will note that a Craft Cakes CLT creation is definitely an investment when compared to other options. However, the end product is incomparable, particularly in the world of vegan cakes in Charlotte. I wish Brigitte had been around when I got married! I wanted a special cake for my daughter, Emily's birthday. It was Emily's request that she have a cake that Brigitte made. We needed one that was gluten and dairy free! Brigitte is an absolute ARTIST in the kitchen. She is constantly experimenting with recipes and decorations, and everything she brings to the table is a piece of her heart. For the past few years I have worked alongside her on styled shoots and weddings and she never fails to impress me time and time again. Her vegan cake for one of my 2018 couple's blew my mind! Even though I am a prolific baker, I was totally busy during the holiday season to be able to make a cake for a friend's birthday. I sent an order inquiry the week before I needed it to Craft Cakes and was immediately accepted in the midst of the Thanksgiving holiday! Picking up the cake was a piece of cake, and it was even more beautiful than I could've imagined.My friend was ordered by a medical professional to refrain from consuming dairy, but Brigitte went above and beyond to make it completely vegan and gluten free. Oh. My. Cakey. Goodness. I’ve been following @craftcakesclt on Instagram for months, drooling and starry eyed over the incredible artistic designs & decadent looking cakes. Brigitte, the owner, is very personal and make all of her product from local ingredients. Once you try one of their cakes, you will be hooked for life. A great friend of mine gifted me a cake from Craft Cakes CLT recently and it was one of the best chocolate cakes I have ever had, and I am picky with chocolate! It was so beautifully decorated and fit all my dietary needs! I was worried of not being able to have cake on my birthday due to some dietary restrictions (dairy free, low sugar, gluten free) and the cake fit the bill on top of being absolutely DELICIOUS. First of all, I can't ever look at cake the same. The magic that Brigitte bakes into those cakes will make you only want her cakes evvveeerrrr! It's hard as a vegan to find a bakery who makes delicious vegan cakes, much less a beautiful wedding cake. Communication was very easy with her, the tasting was very relaxed, and the final product of what I described to her was PERFECTION! The cake was not only delicious it was gorgeous! I would recommend Craft Cakes to vegans a non-vegans. Most people worry that plant based food will taste like kale. This is not the case with Craft Cakes! I love that the products are made from natural ingredients and taste amazing. First off, she has an awesome name. ;) Brigitte was very wonderful to work with. I came across her work via Instagram and absolutely fell in love with her style. I was even more excited to discover that she makes dairy-free and wheat free free cakes!I was definitely impressed with the cake itself. My now-husband and I don't eat dairy or wheat products. I can tell you I've had some terrible tasting cake/cookies/desserts. Brigitte's cake was delicious and we were super pumped to be able to eat cake that didn't taste like cardboard.
