Covent Garden is a small business in our neighborhood. I called them to get a birthday bouquet, plus delivery, the day after my call. They were VERY friendly on the call, even though I was calling them around closing time. My big stipulation was that I wanted a bouquet that would last a while. They understood what I wanted, and they asked my budget (which I appreciated). They said they'd take care of everything.The next day, the flowers were delivered, and they were a hit! Not only that, but most of the bouquet ended up lasting almost three weeks. Wow - what great service and gorgeous arrangement Jeff sent to my Mom who had a fall and needed cheering up. He told me about the new flowers just delivered that day and I chose large yellow sunflowers and my Mom is so happy - plus he delivered in one hour as a special courtesy.  plus you tell them what your price range is and they make the arrangement to fit. Please support your local businesses this Mother's day and every day for that matter.   I was worried when I could not order online.  I had waited too long for a Holiday delivery.  I chose to call and speak to a human for once.  I was so glad I did because they assured me it wasn't an issue.  I know my Mom will love the hanging basket.  I just hope she doesn't find out I opted for the less expensive version...Thanks CGF! Growing up I used to drive by this florist in it's first location. They moved when the giant Kroger's was built and are now located on the corner of Sutton and Salem. Every few weeks the window display changed, it was always fun to see the new window display! It always reflects the season, weather, or upcoming holidays. One of my favorites was the a rained theme one with green frog umbrellas. My mother loved it so much she went in and bought one of the umbrellas. Covent Garden offers the usual flower services such as arrangements, delivery, weddings, funerals, and anything else you should need flowers for. Covent Garden did the flowers for my wedding 25 years ago. They are still the best! When we wire flowers to our family in Cincinnati, we always request Covent Garden to fill the order.
