What do you love most about your job?
I love sitting down early in the morning and having absolutely no idea at all what the day might bring in terms of who might phone me, who might ask for a meeting or what I may be required to research and write about. The excitement lies in the challenge, the challenge is completing the commission above and beyond the clients expectations. We deliver.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Assorted managers and CEO's of companies I was previously working for were always asking me to take responsibility for assorted projects that needed creative input. I enjoyed doing this but realised that it was time for me to personally benefit from my creative efforts rather than them and that the credit for their successes should come to me not to my 'boss'. It was therefore an easy decision to quit and go freelance. No regrets at all, the fact my work has been in constant demand ever since justifies the decision.
