We had excellent service from John at Courteous Travel for our transfer to and from Gatwick. The price was competitive, the car smart and clean and the drive was trouble-free. We appreciated the bottles of water in the car and especially the thoughtful purchase of bread and milk on our return journey. We have just returned from a 2 week holiday and used Courteous Travel to take us to and from Heathrow Airport. The company is exactly as the name implies - not only Courteous but comfortable, friendly, punctual, thoughtful and all with excellent communication. We even received a text message to tell us which conveyor belt our luggage would be on! The best choice I've ever made with regard to travel! A cut above the rest! I booked for a 16 mile journey home from a restaurant to save having to worry about driving so I could have a drink and chill out on a date night with my partner and I am so, so glad I chose Courteous travel. I had no signal in the restaurant so popped outside 5min before our collection time to find a smart friendly and intelligent man waiting with a nice car just like a chauffeur! A lovely smooth drive home with interesting conversation in a nice car and I was very glad for the complimentary water. We booked the Airport (meet and greet) service form Courteous Travel for an evening arrival at Stansted Airport going home to St Ives. I found the company after searching the Internet for a good, professional and local company that wasn’t your regular Cab-style Service. Wow, we weren’t disappointed! A friendly and efficient booking was made before we went and upon arrival we were greeted with a message advising that our driver had arrived and would be waiting for us at arrivals. The greeting was efficient and friendly and we were quickly in our lovely clean luxurious car on our way home. Fantastic service and very reliable and friendly. Absolute brilliant service. nice and very friendly always in time. i like how well the drivers understood to read the road and traffic ahead. no hard braking not hitting speedbumps smooth cornering smooth acceleration. also very comfortable and very clean cars. feels like you been promoted to an ceo being driven like it. These trips usually involve unsociable hour pick ups & drop offs to & from the dreaded Luton airport! Excellent service for the best price that I could find. Contacted us the day before to confirm the booking details, which was very reassuring as we were getting a late flight back to the UK. Very friendly driver who did not complain at all when we were almost an hour late due to our baggage being delayed at arrivals, and a very clean and comfortable vehicle.
