From the very first time we contacted Country Tipis, we knew we had found the perfect venue for our wedding and the best people to help us organise it. Richard and the team offered lots of advice and suggestions and put our minds at rest when we had any queries. Kirsty in the office was fantastic at suggesting ideas for how to decorate the tipi and helped us settle on the beautiful Walkern Hall as our venue for the tipi. Our guests (and the groom!) were blown away by the impact of walking inside for the first time and fell in love with the majestic and relaxed atmosphere it created. The day was perfect and we had something different and personal to us.

We are so immensely pleased that we used Country Tipis for our wedding. The team were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and they were able to guide us to make it just as we wanted. The furniture provided (long tables and fold up chairs) was so beautiful and created just the sort of rustic and simple but yet attractive look that we wanted. On our wedding day, it rained basically all day! This was what I had been dreading during the whole year of planning, but I can honestly say that the tipis were so beautiful and had such a cosy, party atmosphere that I didn't even notice the rain and it didn't dampen the day one bit! I feel like if we had gone for a traditional marquee or similar the same would not have happened. It was great having a 'tipi man' on site to help with anything we needed on the day, just having him there was reassuring! I cannot thank the team enough for making our day so special. Country Tipi did our wedding August this year (2017), they were absolutely amazing, very accommodating, did/had everything we asked for and needed.
Turned up a couple days before the wedding and set up pretty much everything all in one day. They even through in an extra bar for free as we had a big number of guests! (200 guests)
We had a wonderful day and the tipis completely made it. We had it in my in-laws garden and it just made the setting. Loads of room for everyone,including a dance floor and a beautiful fire put outside to roast marshmallows!!!
We would highly recommend them. Richard was a great help and was a big part of making our wedding day very special.

We are so glad we chose Country Tipis for our wedding in August - they were a joy to work with from start to finish and Richard, Ceri and the team were always on hand for any questions and help in the build-up (thank you! ). Massively impressed with the way the team set up so quickly and efficiently two days before the wedding and the very stress-free clear-up afterwards. From lighting, to tables, to flooring, these guys think of everything (and if they don't have it, they will pull out all the stops to find it!). The bespoke, hand-made furniture adds a particularly nice touch and seeing the tipis all lit up after dark was really special. I contacted numerous tipi companies when I started planning our wedding and initially Country Tipis stood out for the quote alone - they were the most reasonably-priced company I could find and the delivery charges were also reasonable compared to other companies I had contacted. Once I'd called and spoken to Richard and the team, it was a no-brainer that we went with them!

Following this, they were professional and approachable throughout and made planning our wedding a pleasure. We had little hiccups here and there with other companies and had to make small changes as the day drew closer but Richard made everything so straight-forward and offered simple solutions every time.

When the actual wedding weekend finally came around, Richard and the team ran everything so smoothly and put the tipi up and down so efficiently - the whole process was completely stress-free for me. And WOW. Our 2-hat tipi looked incredible. Everything we imagined it could be and more. So many guests commented on it and the whole place had a really magical feel - it was situated by a river and especially at dusk, as the lights began to twinkle it made a really, really special day into a magical evening. We used country tipis for a party to celebrate my husband's 40th in our garden. We had initially looked at two tipis but Richard offered great advice on a better layout (single tipi plus separate bar area under the nimbus) and the result was amazing.
The tipi lighting, walkways, festoon lighting was all done at the set up with such great care and attention to detail. The result was phenomenal.
They are a very professional and lovely group of people to work with. Richard was super helpful with any questions asked but to be honest, I will ask less next time and just leave him to it as he clearly knows what he is doing!!

10 out of 10!! We hired a 3-hat tipi from Country Tipis for our wedding. Truly extraordinary and beautiful structures, put together with care and expertise. Inside the tipis feel weirdly spacious (because of their height) but nicely cosy at the same time. Infinitely more interesting and more attractive than a marquee. So many comments from our guests saying the exact same thing.Also, they are surprisingly versatile! We were able to open / close sections, add on bits, link another bit to the bar, have heating but not a wood fire (personal preference), chill out area, dancefloor, round tables not long tables… Our specific requirements were met without exception!Richard is your man for anything, not just tipi-related. Furniture, linens, generators, toilets can all be hired through Country Tipis and we would recommend doing so. They were excellent in all our dealings with them; very helpful and accommodating.
