Having used Dave and Countersthorpe Blinds previously, I had no hesitation in asking him to fit shutters at 3 of our windows. Highly recommended. We had a number of quotes. Dave's knowledge and experience with shutters impressed us enormously. Thanks to him we have beautiful shutters and also rollers blinds that all work via remote control. Highly recommend! Had 2 bay windows fitted with shutters and they look fantastic. They were finished to such a high standard and attention to detail.
Dave came to the house to talk through our ideas and look at samples. Really easy process with no hard sell on more expensive options. We went for a best value option and they look extremely high quality. Very easy to contact, arrange appointments/fittings and good advice given. Will definately call Countesthorpe again for any future blinds or shutters.

Another great job by Countesthorpe Blinds. Having had our shutters fitted by Dave at Countesthorpe Blinds and been extremely satisfied with the quality of the fitting and their reliability of service, I contacted them again for some advice regarding an awning over our patio doors to keep the sun out of our dining room. Where some companies would have given the big sell that an awning would be the best option, having come to understand our taste of furnishings and how we like like a contemporary style, Dave went against this and suggested a far cheaper option of a Louvolite Blind, which would provide shade but not block our view of the garden. Having just had the Louvolite fitted, we wish we had done this long ago. Thank you Dave for understanding our requirements so well. We were recommend to Counthesthorpe blinds by our bathroom fitter who never recommends people. I have to say that I am glad he did. Dave has now fitted our second blind (roman) into our daughters bedroom & they look amazing. This follows on from the shutters fitted into our bathroom which friends have also commented on and asked who fitted them. Dave will be booked in to do our whole house as and when. I call no one else, Dave has been fitting blinds for me some 21 years, from the quotation to fitting he is most conscientious and respectful of your home. I could not be happier if I tried, from beginning to end it has been a stress free experience.
He was true to his word on everything, which is hard to come by these day's.
And don't get me started on the quality of the Blinds, I had shutters fitted and the look Fantastic. The quality is excellent, I would not hesitate in recommending to anyone. You have to see the quality to believe it.
Everyone who has seen them keep using the same words like "wow" & "omg" and also "I must have those"...
The only down side is Dave's rubbish jokes, but I suppose you can't have everything, He's a man need I say more :) .. ..... Brilliant...
As for the 2 people that gave bad reviews, that was so unfair of them. As they did not give him a chance, they were intent on leaving bad feedback. And this feedback is meant for people that have actually had work done.
But they have lost out big time, as they would have had the been more then happy with what ever they would have had done.
Can't help thinking they might have been a competitor. But enough about them. Im so happy I can't stop smiling ... Thank you so much .. More...

I've used Countesthorpe Blinds for many years now and have always received a first class product and service from them. We had some wooden plantation shutters fitted recently and they really do add a 'wow' factor to any room. Also had some motorised roller blinds fitted in the kitchen/diner a few months back and would thoroughly recommend them. Having lived with the motorised roller blinds for around 5 months now I would not go back to having a roller with a manual corded/chain operation again - they look really neat and I have not had to recharge the battery yet, even after 5 months of daily operation! From the initial consultation to the subsequent fitting, I could not have been more impressed. Dave is professional and friendly, he walked me through the process from ordering to installation, when it came to the fitting, the attention to detail and the personal pride Dave takes in his own work is commendable. The product itself is a great quality and functions beautifully.
I would have no reservations in recommending Dave and his team to any potential new client. So much so I have ordered more from Dave for our upstairs. 10 out of 10.

We thought we wouldn’t be able to get blinds to fit our windows as they’re curved but a friend recommended them. With plenty of choice came guidance and advice from David. Well what a suprise had the big companies around to quote for a 3 bed semi and conservatory, well they were all the same started off very expensive but if you sign today i can get you up to 50% discount- managed to get them to leave me a sample of material before i got them out the door -Phoned Countestorpe Blinds he was busy for a few days so i had to wait 3 days for him (but that was fine as it was what was agreed) measured up quick punch on calculator and i got my quote on the spot no haggling over imaginary 50% discount on inflated prices -- price was £50 dearer than Hillary blinds but quality of material was vastly superior (lot thicker) sale agreed all fitted in a couple of weeks no mess very professional service and one bonus he cut all the cords to required length to prevent strangulation dangers to children
