This is not a restaurant. This is a medical practice facility. Chill on the Yelp-like indignation. Finding a mental health provider is both intimidating and challenging. One of the benefits of this place is the quantity of professionals available. It took a couple attempts but when I found someone who I clicked with, they really made a difference in my mental health and my life in general. More...

UPDATE: Jan. 19, 2017I'm revising my review and increasing the star rating based on responses from The Counseling Center. After an email complaint and my review here, I received prompt response back from Rebecca @ TCON, who was very professional and showed genuine concern over correcting their issues with the prior authorization department . She expeditiously worked to resolve my issue, and also laid out what their corrective plan was in very plain terms, all of which was greatly appreciated. I have to say that her responsiveness was excellent and has restored my faith in the practice. Like I said at the outset, all of the doctors I've worked with there have been wonderful, and if they get these more administrative issues fixed, they are a top-notch practice in my mind. ----------------------All of the doctors here have been wonderful - this review is not about them. However, their "prior authorization" department who handles sending prescription prior authorizations to insurance is absolutely terrible. They are completely unreachable by phone and never respond to voice mail. I have had to pay out of pocket for prescriptions because they can't seem to process prior authorization requests in a timely manner, and have spend waaaaayyy too much time on the phone leaving messages, calling my insurance to see if they've submitted anything, etc. I *hope* someone at that office is reading these reviews, because I've complained about the issue numerous times to numerous people there, and yet nothing seems to change. It's a real disappointment for an otherwise very nice practice. More...
