I hired Couch Fire Films to record audio and video of a variety comedy show I hosted here in Chicago. I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. Their pricing was competitive, their manner professional, and the finished product is top quality. I'm really happy with what they put together for me and I look forward to working with them in the future! More...

What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
The secret to taking a great photograph is story. Connection is the most important piece of good video or photo work. You can take the most well framed, beautifully exposed photo in the world, and if it doesn't have a story for the viewer to connect to, it will fall flat.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
When starting a new project, I like to ask clients a few basic questions - What do they want as a final deliverable? Who is going to see it? Where is it going to be shown? Why should people care about it? When does it need to be done? How are we going to make this happen?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the opportunity to tell different stories every day, to work with a variety of clients and learn new and interesting things about the world around me.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started my own business because I wanted the flexibility to tell the stories I want to tell, and to be able to produce my own content while still working for my clients and my community.
Why should our clients choose you?
You should choose me because I will always put the project first. The story we are trying to tell is the most important thing, and I will always do my utmost to make sure that the story gets told right.
