Upscale restaurant without being pretentious. Father's Day special bone-in New York strip was outstanding as expected. Desserts were fancy but fell slightly short of the bar set by the entrees. Must try the French fries drizzled in truffle oil! Or waitress Michelle was fun and knowledgeable. Her recommendations were spot on. Definitely a worthy destination for a romantic date and spending a couple hundred bucks. More...

We had a nice experience. Private dining, flawless service, and good food. Only complaint would be that my scallops were not warm. The steaks were perfect and all of the appetizers were very good. More...

I had the tuna appetizer which was excellent served on a slightly spicy cabbage bed, followed by possibly the best fried green tomatoes I've had since I was a kid in Tennessee. My entree was elk prepared medium as I've been afraid to go more rare because of a recent bad experience elsewhere. It was still delicious but next time I'll go with the chefs recommendation of medium rare. My date had the octopus and veal chop and said it was delicious as well. This is one of our favorite places, whether a special occasion like birthday or anniversary, or entertaining clients. The staff is very friendly and professional and we appreciate the valet parking. Great meal, fantastic service. The red snapper and tuna were hits. My grilled romaine and fried green tomatoes were the best I've had.

Fabulous! From the cocktail menu to the dessert! Michelle was the waitress and was outstanding. Michelle knew her menus and easily made perfect recommendations! The chef went out of the way to provide gluten free bread and preparing our food to be sharable with the person in our party that has gluten allergies! One of my absolute favorite places to dine! Such a great restaurant, lots of history. Took a tour of the basement/wine cellar and also upstairs (private dining areas), such a beautiful place.
Husband and I went for Sunday brunch, he had chicken and waffles, I had the fried Green tomato Benedict with braised pork belly, both were excellent! Service was awesome also. Highly recommend!

I recently ate here with a party of 6. While we were led out of the restaurant like panhandlers when we got there, we were taken around the corner down the street and upstairs to a very nice private room with its own restroom. It was great. As for the food, I personally thought that everything I had was Fantastic from the cocktails (Rocket Science), to the appetizers (ravioli, dumplings, octopus), to the soup (butternut squash), the salad (fennel, apple, citrus), the entree (seafood paella) , and the desert (apple tart). I would give it 5 stars except, that I wasn't the only one eating. Three of party had steaks. None liked them--too bland, no flavor. My advice is don't order a steak at a non-steak place. There was also a problem with ordering the wine. It took 4 tries before they could find one that they actually had on their wine menu (4 tries!). The wine we eventually got, was fine. I would highly recommend it, just don't order a steak and pick the house wine. More...
