We got married at the Cotton Gin at Mill Creek on November 11, 2018 and we cannot say enough great things about this venue! Originally, when we visited the Cotton Gin, we were looking to have an October wedding, but they were all booked up for the dates we were looking at. But once we toured it, we fell in love with it and knew that this was where we HAD to get married at. Since the dates we wanted were unavailable, it left us with limited dates for the rest of year. Typically, the Cotton Gin didn’t do Sunday weddings, but Amanda and the rest of the crew were willing to work with us to make our wedding dreams come true! Everything was beyond perfect, from food to table settings to the rehearsal to the actual fairytale wedding day - it was hands down was the most beautiful day of my life (second only to October 10, 2019, when we welcomed our baby boy ). We still talk about how beautiful everything was and our guests still comment on how much they enjoyed the venue and atmosphere. Everyone is so kind and thoughtful and accommodating. The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek makes dreams come true. From the first night of touring the Cotton Gin, I knew that it was exactly everything I had ever wanted for my wedding. Amanda is literally the greatest human on the face of the earth and makes sure that the vision you have for your wedding comes to life. In the middle of wedding planning, we had to move to Alabama and the Cotton Gin staff were still above and beyond accommodating! I was worried about how planning would go via FaceTime, but Amanda made it such an easy process for us! We got married on December 29, 2018 (sorry for the late review ‍♀️) and our guests STILL to this day talk about what an incredible time they had at our wedding and how great the food was. I’m not entirely sure how Amanda and Logan made everything go perfect the day of, but they managed to do it. I could not have envisioned a more beautiful wedding, from the decorations and flowers to the absolutely gorgeous chapel. I’ve been a part of quite a few weddings and have never seen the kind of professionalism and care that everyone has at the Cotton Gin. Ashley & Ben, I could literally go on about them for forever; not only did they take the most gorgeous pictures and video that I will always cherish, but they just blended in so well and made it feel like they were just friends there to celebrate the wedding. Our wedding was on Friday, October 18, 2019, we booked almost a year out which included a discount for not having in on a Saturday. They have everything laid out in easy to follow step by step timelines, removing a lot of the worry that brides normally have. They are easy to communicate with and respond quickly to any question you may have. On the day of the wedding their teams are working behind the scenes so that when your wedding starts your breath is taken away. The flowers are amazing, the decor is beautiful, the food delicious, the cake was breathtaking, and the DJ made sure that the dance floor was always packed. The photographer delivered a gallery preview 72 hours later, the photos are beautiful. They provide a day of wedding coordinator, who I swear is a ninja. I would be thinking of something I needed done and she would say, already on it! I don't know where to begin with this place honestly. There are truly not enough words to explain it. We began our wedding planning journey almost 2 years ago. I stumbled across The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek... ,which is near and dear to me considering I used to go eat here as a little girl when I was little with my family. So we went in for our tour and was sold. February 14th. I'll never forget it. It was the only venue we even looked at. I knew I wanted something different. I wasn't your average bride. I had an image. I had it all planned out and just needed the help to bring it to life. The whole team is absolutely amazing but the two people who absolutely changed my life was Amanda and Logan... I have friends for life now. I mean it. The whole planning process was a breeze for me. I was treated like royalty. They got sooo excited over my wedding and it gives me a warm tingly feeling just thinking about how wholesome they are. The day of I was taken care of all day long... I was showered with love, hugs, cheek kisses, and excitement. The bridesmaids and Groomsmen were taken care of all day long as well. The decor, the food, the drinks people can't stop talking about it. I seriously strived to have the best wedding and I got it. I got my perfectly different wedding and loved every minute of it. and now I am truly sad that it is over because they played such a huge part of the biggest day of my life... It has been almost two weeks since our wedding and I am still on cloud 9 and constantly reminiscing. From the moment I saw the amazing ratings for The Cotton Gin and all the awards on The Knot, I knew this was the place for us. We were lucky enough to get married at the outdoor ceremony location, but I absolutely love both the outdoor and indoor options. Everything is beautiful and customizable. Amanda saw all of my ideas and brought them to life even more perfectly than I could have imagined. She truly has a passion and a gift. A true hidden gem....beautiful facilities, from the indoor/outdoor reception options to the cocktail facility to the reception space. I spent a month or so looking for venues around Atlanta that were reasonably priced and didn't require much planning on my end. I finally came across the Cotton Gin and noticed their All Inclusive Wedding Package and beautiful site! I went to visit the venue and FELL IN LOVE. There's an option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, which is actually really hard to find! There's another huge room for cocktail hour with a fountain, game patio, and photo booth, and then another full room upstairs for the reception with a beautiful patio. The space was perfect for our 175-200 guest count. There was no hidden prices in the package and it was SO affordable for what all is included. Literally, all of the vendors are included in the package, making wedding planning SO EASY! My husband and I told Amanda, the owner, exactly what we envisioned, and she made the wedding even better than we could've imagined! It was a DREAM come true!!! Amanda is extremely professional and talented, and made the day so calm for me. She really gets to know her brides personally and is easy to contact throughout the planning process. My bridesmaids and I got ready at the bridal suite all day, which is also beautiful, and Amanda had coffee, breakfast, lunch, and mimosas for all of us! The grooms lounge has a pool table and a mini bar with snacks that my husband and his groomsmen loved. On the wedding day, there is a coordinator provided that helps everything go smoothly. The venue also provides all decorations, making it easy for us (once again) and gorgeous. All of my wedding guests complimented this rustic, farmhouse, romantic venue! From the ease of wedding planning to the breathtaking, detailed decor and flowers... just WOW. We also had our rehearsal dinner here to in The White Room (upstairs room), which was decorated wonderfully with amazing food! There are different themes you can pick for the rehearsal dinner, and we chose Fiesta with fajitas and margs! I love how supportive Amanda was throughout the whole process, how EASY it all was, and how she has created such a beautiful, romantic area for weddings. In particular, Ashley from Sage and Cedar Photo, Ben from Lafaro Films, and the DJ from Premier entertainment made the wedding FABULOUS. We've gotten so many compliments about the delicious FOOD too! There's also an option to have a donut wall instead of a grooms cake, which was really cool and different! When my now husband and I first visited the cotton gin, we completely fell in love! In fact, it was the only venue we visited. Since that day, Amanda and her team were there for us every single step of the way! They have such an amazing attention to detail, and they really capture the vision that you’re going for. The food is absolutely delicious, the cake is to die for, and the flowers are unbelievable! We also decided to have our rehearsal dinner there the night before and the food for that was amazing as well! They staff is so attentive and they took care of our every need. On wedding day, Lauren was our coordinator and she was amazing!! She would do anything and everything we asked! The whole day ran so smoothly and I couldn’t have dreamed of a better wedding! Every single one of our guests just kept saying how beautiful everything was, how amazing the wedding was, how good the food was, and that they had a great time!!

Additionally, we had the most amazing photographer and videographer! They were both top notch, and made me and my husband feel so special on our wedding day! The pictures that Ashley made are so beautiful and the video from Ben captures the day perfectly!

The Cotton Gin at Mill Creek was the first venue my fiance (now wife :D) and I went to check. After the tour, it was clear that there wasn't going to be a second one. The venue was simply amazing. We loved the outside ceremony area, the decor in the cocktail area, and just how the wedding pretty much flows from one area to the next. A couple of days later, we came back, sat down with Logan and decided to go with the all inclusive package (best decision we could've made!).The wedding was Harry Potter themed, and thanks to the hard work and the amazing creativity of Amanda and her whole staff, they had everything my wife wanted covered down to the most minor details. We couldn't be happier with how they handled everything before and during the wedding. Finally, the food.. oh the food. Beside the amazing decoration, the food was all our guests would talk about. It felt like we were dining in a 5 star restaurant! Overall, I can't recommend this place enough to anyone who's thinking about coming here for their special day. This place is a literal heaven on earth. This was the one and only venue I checked out and I knew that it was the one. Everything was so breathtaking. My Harry Potter themed wedding was truly magical. Amanda and Logan went above and beyond to accommodate everything I wanted. I am gonna keep recommending this place to everyone until I get a chance to attend any wedding as a guest at Cotton Gin. I mean there is so much for guest to enjoy, I was a little jealous. We were blown away by The Cotton Gin @ Mill Creek! I am in nursing school and trying to plan the wedding of my dreams. Amanda made email communication a breeze by getting back to my mom and I with answers to our questions. The food selections look so great; excited to taste and sample. The price package are by far the most comprehensive. They quickly checked off our boxes of the list of services we will need fulfilled to make our wedding day a beautiful success. Our experience with the staff and owner of The Cotton Gin was the best!! Stress free wedding planning at its absolute best. Our daughters day was the most perfect all made possible by the planning and execution of the staff and leaders! My only complaint was the taste of the vegetable medley. At the tasting opportunity ask questions about preparation, flavors, spices, etc. We felt the veggies were over cooked and tasted ‘spoiled’ due to a balsamic vinegar used to prepare them.
