I'm very happy with the job Mark did on my laptop! At the beginning I was quite skeptical because I would normally go to a shop to get my laptop fix, but I decided to give it a chance. I gave him my computer but he didn't give me a receipt and when I called the next day he didn't answered my first 4 calls. I was getting worried so the next day after that we went to the location and everything was great! He gave back my computer and explained everything he did, it was really nice, it was working perfectly. I had an overheating laptop with a faulty fan. The fan was properly replaced, the dust removed from the internals and new thermal paste was applied. Very satisfied with the service.

I was very cautious about an independent computer repair guy like Mark, but wanted to support a local independent company. But the experience I've had, has left a very sour taste, that i may never trust another independent computer repair guy again! I was sent an invoice for 300 pounds for two laptop repairs. A hardrive replacement and replacement charger for a hp omen. The hp omen came back working. But then wouldn't hold charge, so i took it back in again. The acer laptop however was never fixed. This is a completely honest review. Throughout the whole process I wasn't kept up to date, I didn't know what repairs were being done and when i received the laptops back. Having been told that replacement screens for my all in one C24 were not available Mark came to the rescue. He obtained a replacement refurbished or secondhand screen fitted it and gave me a 6 month warranty all at a reasonable cost and quickly.

TLDR: charged me after saying nothing was wrong, I fixed the fairly simple issue myself after, also removed cpu cooler without replacing thermal paste. Amateurs, they will not help you in the slightest and I don't recommend at all I was having issues with my booting so I went in to have it looked at, they said nothing is wrong(tested for less than one day), charged me £40 and nothing was changed, still having issues with it and I decide to message back. but I get ignored and don't get a response. I then find a workaround far about a month until I've had enough. I spend a day troubleshooting myself and realise it was a dead cmos battery, as soon as I fixed that it was working as it should again. Fast turnaround, and delivered a fix that stuck! At the beginning of this year my Laptop (which I use to work from home) started making a huge racket, the fan needed replacing. So I sent it off to be repaired by the manufacturer. I got it back 2 months later with a bill of over £100. Not six months later it started making the same noise. Instead of sending it away for another few months I looked for another option. I got in touch with Cosmic Computers, and they quickly diagnosed the issue (it turns out the original repairs didn't even replace the fan, so I'm not sure what the bill was for), the only wait I had was for the new part to arrive, and then it was quickly resolved. Not to mention the pricing was very reasonable. I can't recommend enough. If you're deciding where to go for repairs, this is a great and reliable option, even if you are under warranty elsewhere. They went out of their way to fit the job in and turn it round in extra quick time so she could carry on using with minimal interruption.
