There are not enough good things to say about Cosmic Canine! My huge, sweet horse-dog, Henry, has a mind of his own and was becoming difficult on walks and outings - pulling, not listening when distracted, excessively barking. I enrolled him in the four week boarding program. He successfully completed that and now I am in my four week training program (once a week training with him). The follow-up lessons really are the secret to success. Henry knows his stuff thanks to their training, but now I know how to reinforce that. The staff members I have met are so knowledgeable and caring (with my dog and with me.) Bonus points: They are hyper-sensitive to maintaining the health of the dogs in their care. Cosmic Canine has been fabulous for our collie puppy.  We enrolled her in the 6 week kindergarten class when she was 4 months old and she has grown so much already in just 5 weeks.  She has learned so many commands:  sit, down, place, shake, come when called, crate, and off.  She has also learned great socialization skills, and does not bark any longer when she see's other dogs.  The class has taught her the foundational skills she desperately needed.  We look forward to continuing her in additional advanced classes to continue her development.  I highly recommend cosmic canine for all dog owners! We brought our sweet and strong willed puppy here for a 4 week boarding program. He's a Rhodesian Ridgeback named Gunnar and we struggled mainly with him jumping on people, being protective near other dogs and listening to us in distracting situations.  I'm a professional runner so I also wanted to start the process of him running some miles with me. We missed him terribly but when we picked him up from his long term boarding, he was a different dog. Cosmic Canine and their team worked with us to teach us the commands, help us work with him off leash and he was even able to run 2 miles with me without going after squirrels and other dogs! We still have to work with him every day on what we want from him but we are able to manage his high energy personality through the training we learned at Cosmic Canine. I utilize Animal Assisted Therapy in my social work practice, Finding Freedom Therapy. Maya was an excellent instructor and assisted me in training Lily who is now a certified therapy animal through Pet Partners and assists the clients in my practice. Maya is very knowledgeable and takes time to share that knowledge. It is a structured class with tools that are actually able to be implemented. Most importantly, Maya is very animal focused. Cosmic Canine changed my life. I had two small dogs most of my adult life & they both passed a year & two years ago, respectively. I had already adopted a stray, Jessee, a shepard mix and the first "big" dog I had ever owned. She was five months & a bit of a handful at first but finally fit in well with my little pack. She grew up with my little dogs until they passed. When they passed, I decided Jessee needed a companion and adopted another female German Shepard mix. Both were three, shepard mixes, and both females. I was so happy to welcome Lillee into her forever home. I had no qualms about handling dogs. After all, I had a trusting vet & years of experience. Boy was I in for a big surprise! My adopted dog Lillee had  trauma issues of her own and after a while, she began picking on Jessee & attacking her. I had no idea what to do, I just knew I did not have the expertise to handle the situation & ensure they were both safe. For a couple months, i tried everything, contacted numerous rescue groups & shelters in an effort to find Lillee a new home, but no one would take an "aggressive dog". However, at the same time my heart was breaking. I did not want to give up on Lillee.. most of the time she was such a sweet & loving soul. I had also hired a couple of trainers in a desperate attempt for help & to keep Lillee in her forever home. But that wasn't working either. I finally stumbled upon Cosmic Canine & sent yet another message with a desperate plea for help. The owner Maya immediately contacted me and told me she could help and had successfully rehabbed many dogs over the years. In talking to Maya, I could tell she had a genuine interest, wanted to help & calmed my fears. I had finally found an answer to my prayers.  Shortly thereafter, both dogs were in the board & train program. Craig was their primary trainer & did an excellent job with both dogs. It's been a couple months now that my girls have been back home & I'm amazed at their transformation. Now they both play together & are the best of friends. Jessee's little mischievous personality is back & there is now peace in my home. The girls love going for booster trainings & get so excited when they visit. Maya and her team trained my high-energy large dog well. If it were not for them, I don't know if I would have been able to keep my dog, she was just too uncontrollable. The CC team worked with me to help me understand the way my dog thinks and behaves, and how my behavior affects the result I want to see. I highly recommend Cosmic Canine, and am so grateful that they were there for me at a critical time. The dog I adopted truly has a heart of gold, but as a stray, just had no understanding for the structure of household living. My trained dog, my other dog, and I now happily live together, and I fully credit Maya and the Cosmic Canine staff for all their work to help that result come to be. They are worth every penny. I can’t express how grateful I am to Maya, Craig, and the entire Cosmic Canine team for what they were able to do for my dogs. My 4-year-old rescued Staffordshire Terrier, Jack, had always been nervous around strange dogs, but recently his behavior worsened and he began reacting aggressively and lashing out dangerously at home with our other dogs. He and my young male, Grimm, were unable to be in the same room without a full-on explosive brawl, and we had to keep them separated with multiple doors between them at all times. It got to the point where we were unable to leave the house with Jack at all — even for walks. If he so much as thought he saw another dog, he would lunge aggressively, growl, snarl, and foam at the mouth. It was scary. He’s a powerful dog, and I was not equipped to maintain control over him during one of these aggressive episodes. Our situation was truly dire, and I needed urgent help before someone ended up badly hurt — or worse.Jack and Grimm both attended Cosmic Canine’s board-and-train program, and I am absolutely thrilled to report that they are now able to live peacefully with each other. Jack is able to remain completely relaxed on walks around our busy neighborhood, even when exposed to some pretty big distractions and former triggers.Under the watchful eyes of Craig, Maya, and the Cosmic Canine team Jack was able to build his confidence, learn appropriate reactions, and maintain his cool in new situations — all things that were difficult or impossible for him before. Meanwhile, Grimm was able to learn some solid manners and shake off old puppy habits; he’s now walking well on a leash, is a better listener, and understands how to give Jack his space without overwhelming him with excited puppy energy. Together, Jack and Grimm learned how to coexist harmoniously, and today they are able to take walks together, eat together, take naps together, and practice obedience together without anxiety or fear. I still almost can’t believe my eyes when I see them casually hanging out, and *choosing* to be in the same room together — this is HUGE. Before his training program, Jack nearly broke through a solid wood door to get to Grimm, and tonight they ate their dinners 3 feet from each other and then both went outside for a relaxed walk.Jack’s reactivity and fear-aggression will require a lifetime of careful management and supervision; Cosmic Canine gave me the tools, knowledge, and support to ensure that I can confidently give my dogs happy, full, and peaceful lives together. Our pup, Calix, completed the month long board and train and has made a complete 360. Calix had a hard time with separation anxiety prior to his stay. We had tried various kinds of kennels and he always found a way out. We would then come home to a wreck of a house because of this. Calix’s manners and commands were not very consistent as well. Finally, after months of trying everything we could to help him, he found Cosmic Canine. We are soooooo PROUD of all of Calix’s accomplishments, all thanks to cosmic canine. We sent our Lab to Cosmic Canine when he was 9 months old for the board and train program. He came back a totally different dog. We can't thank Stan and Maya enough for the work they put into him. He was a bit stubborn at first. We can now go outside with him off-leash and not worry about him running away. His manners are so much better. He still needs some reminding now and then but overall we couln't be happier. He is now a part of the family and interacts with us on a positive level instead of a negative one. i have 2 English Bulldogs which are really hard to train. I can not say how happy I am with the results. I am free to take them on walks without getting pulled and yanked, i can keep them off the nice furniture and they listen to my wife now. the biggest improvement has been the Dog Aggression, they have learned to live with each other and dare I say have become good friends whereas before it was some hostile fighting. WOW What a difference! My 5 month old German Shepherd was having severe fear aggression problems with every dog and person she saw. The hair would go up on her back and she would go ballistic. I left her with Stan at Cosmic Canine for a board and train session and she is a totally different dog. Just got back from taking her to Home Depot where she walked threw the place like she owned it. We began to use Cosmic Canine when our mini Golden was just around 10 weeks old , today she is a year & 3 months. We decided to the facility unfortunately because she was a lot to handle and it had gotten to the point to where we had no option but to board her for two weeks for training. We were skeptical if the training would work. After four weeks we took her home and followed all the training guidelines. After a few more weeks of being very consistent, we realized that she behaved well with the male (me) and still very aggressive with my fiance. We then decided to train her again, but a little more aggressively (e-collar). Today, I can walk Bella without a leash, she follows all commands, and is an all around well-behaved dog. We had not used Cosmic Canine for a period of 9 months. As of recent, we decided to board her for 2 weeks with Stan and his staff. Skeptical again that she may learn bad behaviors, we came back to find her in great health and was exactly the same dog that we had left. Did a month long board and train for my dog who struggled with aggression towards other dogs (especially on walks). The trainers were amazing. They provided weekly progress reports and pictures/videos. Our dog went from trying attack dogs to calmly sitting in “place”, while other dogs were walked around her. Now, on walks, if she see’s another dog, squirrel, or rabbit She’s a different dog! For the times she gets over excited, all I have to do is give her the “down” command. She goes into the submissive position until she calms down. This training has been so helpful! Especially now that we have toddlers. I highly recommend anyone with hyper dogs or dogs with aggression, to try Cosmic Canine. They did not disappoint! More...

We took our 8 month old German Shepherd, Kratos, to Cosmic Canine for the 4 week board and train program that they offer. Before we took him in he was having issues such as: leash pulling and controlling our walks, not obeying basic commands, jumping on us, attempting to attack passing cars, and displaying aggression towards other dogs . I initially took our dog to another trainer and saw no results after a couple of months. Within just two minutes of the initial evaluation with the trainer Stan at Cosmic, I was able to see that he definitely knew what he was talking about. He was able to get Kratos under control and placed him next to another dog without Kratos showing any aggression at all. After we picked Kratos up from his board and train, we could tell that he was a totally different dog. He understood and obeyed the commands (sit, down, place, heel, and free) and didn't pay any attention to the other dogs nearby. Stan gave us a heads up that our dog would attempt to go back to his old ways as soon as we got home, and he did attempt to, but he made it clear that it's our job to reenforce his training. Since then Stan has really gone way above and beyond to help us and has increase our confidence when it comes to handling our newly trained pup. I took my 6 month old Germanshepard mix to cosmic canine training, he was huge and out of control, when he came home he was a complete different dog. going back a couple times after the training was over, for pointers and touch up, I can take him anywhere off leash and not worry about him jumping on people or running after or up to other dogs! Our new working line German Shepherd puppy, Diego attended Puppy Bootcamp this past month at Cosmic Canine. We've been really happy with the results and it seemed like Diego had a great time during his stay. Cosmic really understands working line German Shepherds and knew how to teach us to incorporate Diego into our lives without having Diego run our lives. Also, the follow-up private lessons that are included have been really helpful with questions regarding Diego's obedience and helping us adjust to Diego being home with his higher standards/expectiations after Puppy Bootcamp. We love Cosmic Canine, Maggie just completed her off leash broad and train. WOW! What an unbelievable job. She is very confident when we are free walking, and loves to stay in her bubble. We had a night walk last night, and was able to correct a behavior when she saw a rabbit. It was dark and I did not see her focus behavior, so she went running, and was quickly corrected and back at my side. Way to go guys! Her manners are superb, and she is happy to be home, but still looking to have some one on one training.
