How long have you been in business?
We opened in 2001, in Tucson, Arizona. In 2014, Jim was hired by a large swimming pool company in Texas and Jim honed his pool building, estimating and sales skills. We are 17 years old!
What guarantee does your work come with?
All of our work is guaranteed for the periods outlined by the Arizona Registrar of Contractors standards for warranty items. This typically is 12 months from either the Certificate of Occupancy date, or the date of sign off by the customer and punch list. Additionally, some warranties which cover appliances, motors, and other installed equipment may carry higher time limits, which we would honor completely.
What do you love most about your job?
I really enjoy being outdoors, interfacing with clients and keenly watching the progress of the job. I am present for each and every inspection by the governing body and review with each trade beforehand, so that every detail is resolved before the inspection occurs.
What inspired you to start your own business?
COSEC was formed in 2001, after a disaster was averted. The company that Jim worked for was about to close it's doors and leave the remaining clients high and dry. Since Jim had built a very personal relationship with all of these customers, he arranged to finish their jobs, at very little, or no profit so that the clients would not be burdened by this event. This turned out to be a very fruitful event, since the gratitude felt was returned by way of several handsome bonuses given at the end of each of the projects.
Jim is a very detailed oriented and demanding professional who requires commitment and quality from each and every employee and subcontractor who touches or is part of any project. Jim has been self employed since the 80's in various ventures. He went to work in the mid 90's for a custom home builder and learned the "trade". Jim is a self starter and he enjoys creating beautiful buildings and relaxing Oases
