Since I am an actress , I have worked with many photographers. I am writing this review because It was so amazing to work with Marilyn. You can be confident that you are in the best of hands and your photos will be gorgeous.I really appreciate how Marilyn put me at ease from the moment I arrived at her lovely studio in Coral Gables. She is a true artist and I felt she brought out my eyes like I have never seen them before. WOW WOW WOW! that’s all I can say about Marilyn Scavo’s work. She is the most AMAZING photographer out there, a true artist, and a true gem. I hired her for boudoir photos as a gift for my soon to be husband. From the moment we spoke on the phone, she made me feel super comfortable. She helped me pick out the best outfits for my pictures and posed me in ways that flattered my body the most. These pictures truly made me feel confident and stunning. Wow. I was looking for a boudoir photographer for quite some time and surprisingly had difficulties finding someone that I wanted to proceed with. Then Marilyn came along. From the very first phone call and viewing her website I knew that my search was over. The studio is located in Coral Gables. It is the perfect little spot. It is very private so if you are camera shy you have nothing to worry about! Marilyn is able to transform that studio into incredibly different sets.The absolute star of the show is Marilyn herself. I had my makeup done as part of my package and I highly recommend doing so! She knows what to do for your face and what will come out beautiful on camera. Marilyn is not a photographer, she is truly an artist. She has completely mastered her craft. Her attention to detail is exceptional and she knows not just how to morph you into poses that make your body look incredible but she’s also able to direct you so that your face is relaxed and doesn’t look forced or “Alien”. The entire process from beginning to end I felt like I was hanging out with a girlfriend and what a truly beautiful human she is! Never once did I feel even the slightest bit uncomfortable. It's truly not often that I write yelp reviews, but I want to make sure that when someone is looking for boudoir photography, you do not have to go anywhere else but here! Marilyn is a TRUE GEM! I contacted her mainly because I wanted to give my husband something different on our wedding night as a gift from me. When I contacted her, we were on the phone FOR AN HOUR! She took her time talking to me, explaining to me the process, how she prices the shoots (AMAZING PRICES) and we brainstormed ideas for the different "looks". I knew right away THIS WAS THE PHOTOGRAPHER FOR ME! The day of the photo shoot was amazing! I am definitely not on the skinny side, but while I was there Marilyn made me feel so comfortable as if I knew her forever! She made sure that we hit all the looks that I wanted and truly brought out the best of me through her photography! I have no doubt in my mind that she has to be the best boudoir photographer HANDS DOWN! In regards to her location, it is perfect! In the heart of coral gables and with a parking lot right across the street.  Her studio is a piece of art with different wallpapers and so many different props to work with. It also has a delicious restaurant that she recommended a couple shops down from her studio which is awesome because after a photo shoot you will be hungry! Marilyn is truly a talented artist, and an amazing person. I just shot with her for the 2nd time . I had so much fun the first time, and got beautiful photos that exceeded my wildest dreams. I really had no idea how beautiful I could be, with a professional hair and makeup artist and photographer such as Marilyn would be capable of creating. I wanted photos that were boudoir style and flirty, but still usable for my website, and we nailed it.She knows just how to pose you, to make you look amazing and flatter your body. It's like witchcraft! And then any little problem area, she can fix up thru editing. The hardest part is choosing which photos you don't want to keep, because out of hundreds you will get dozens and dozens of amazing shots. I could not say enough good things about Marilyn and her studio.  I have struggled with body dysmorphia for over 10 years now and have never been able to look at myself and be remotely satisfied.  My wedding is quickly approaching and I was putting off doing a Boudoir shoot in fear of viewing myself up close and person...all of those fears went away upon my first conversation with Marilyn.  She not only made me feel comfortable but was so professional. My hair and make up was probably better than the artist I chose for my wedding, and she has such an incredible eye for what looks good.  After helping me choose my outfits, we began taking photos that were not just sexy but CLASSY. I am usually so awkward and you would never know when looking at my images.  Every single pose was flawlessly positioned and captured and when looking at my pictures afterwards I was in disbelief. I looked amazing. My life with literally never be the same and I really owe it all to her !I would encourage everyone to do a shoot like this at least once in their life. I had such an AMAZING experience with Marilyn. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I called her to ask about the shoot. She guided me the entire way; where to get outfits, what shoes to bring, as well as props and jewelry that went with my idea for the shoot. When I first got to my shoot Marilyn greeted me with kind words and a glass of champagne! WHAT IS BETTER?!?! She looked at my outfits, (or lack of) and told me what looked best. I searched for a while for a boudoir photographer whose work didn't look cheap, cheesy or make me look like a porn star. I'm so thankful that I found Marilyn. Her work is amazing! I did a photo shoot with her as a gift to my husband for our first anniversary. I ended up blowing my budget and ordering the 8x10 album with acrylic cover, but it was so worth it! He absolutely loved the gift. She made me feel very comfortable during the shoot and gave clear tips/cues for posing. I wish I could show more people my pictures because I am so proud of them. Marilyn is AMAZING!!!! I just had a session with her today which would be a gift for my boyfriend. Since he's a hardcore Steelers fan, I took props and matching outfits as well as sexy lingerie for the more classy exotic pics. She began with doing my makeup and let me tell you, I was super impressed! Natural and sexy!Right after it was time for the shoots being that it was my first time doing a photo shoot like this, I was nervous, but Marilyn is such a natural that I didn't even feel uncomfortable at all!!
