We booked Cornwall Chef as our wedding caterers at Polhawn fort after a delicious tasting session, after the wedding all of our guests commented on how nice the food was and it truly was outstanding, from the canapés to the dessert the food was flawless we highly recommend!!!

We booked Steve for our wedding catering at Tredudwell Manor in April 2019 and we are completely thrilled with our decision. He was so helpful and easy to deal with from the moment we enquired with him right through to the day itself and we would 100% recommend Cornwall Chef to anybody looking for catering for their wedding or any other event come to that. The food was absolutely incredible and we have had so many compliments from all of our guests. We opted for crab cakes and creamy garlic mushrooms for our starters, supreme of chicken and brisket for our main course and sticky toffee pudding and lemon and ginger mousse pots for dessert. We also chose a vegetarian option of a galette of lentils. In the evening we had a mix of pasties, pork rolls and homemade pizza slices. All of the food was absolutely divine, the flavours were incredible and we had so many comments on how tender and tasty the brisket main course was. Every single person I have spoken to has said how good the food was and we certainly agree based on what we had. We were so well fed in the day that neither of us ended up eating any of the evening food much to our disappointment! Darren has an impressive appetite at the best of times and he was not left hungry after the wedding breakfast! But we have received so many compliments on how tasty the evening food was, particularly how good the pulled pork rolls were!Not only was the food better than we had ever hoped it would be the service was impeccable and Steve was so relaxed, friendly, calm and totally professional. We didn’t worry about a thing all day, everything was taken care of from the cake cutting and dishing out to serving the welcome and toasting drinks and everything in between. We barely knew they were there and everything ran so smoothly. The food and the service is such an important part of any wedding and we are so pleased that we chose Cornwall Chef as everything was perfect and absolutely exceeded our expectations and helped make our day perfect. We also felt that they were excellent value for money in comparison to some other quotes we had but certainly for the service and the food they provided they are absolutely priceless - an absolute gem. We gave Steve a very detailed brief for catering our wedding at Polhawn Fort last month, emphasising our wish to use local and seasonal produce with a big element being fish and seafood. He listened to the brief and served up mouth-watering canapes, a first-class wedding breakfast worthy of Michelin stars and a delicious bbq, all served efficiently and without fuss. Our guests still talk about the experience and quality of food served. Living 6 hours away we didn't manage a tasting, but put our faith in Steve and his team and they delivered on all counts. Cornwall Chef couldn't have offered a better service for our wedding. The food was stunning, every dish was amazing and they bent over backwards to produce a menu that was more than we could have imagined, incorporating all that we asked for. There were so many comments from our guests about how delicious the food was. I don't think I can put into words how fantastic they were. Even the most fussiest of guests raved about the food! You really were outstanding from the start, taking the time to get our menu just right. We booked Cornwall Chef for our wedding on Saturday 16th June. Wow wow wow. Steve was brilliant at communicating with us up until the big day and offering recommendations for dishes. The food that arrived on the tables were delicious. Every single person thought the food was fantastic that corrina put on the plates.Ryan (front of house manager) and the serving staff were super professional and calm. Just a quick one, The most amazing wedding food ever. Steve could not do any more to help us out, we had a fantastic tasting session before hand so kind of knew what was coming but on the day the food just blew us and our 130 guests away. The antipasti was so delicious our guests ate it all before we got back!!!!!The build your own burger bar was awesome, and the salads really tasty.The bar was perfect.The staff were amazing and so efficient and polite. The communication from start to finish was excellent and the food and service was equal to any top restaurant. Steve was fantastic through the whole process of arranging and catering for our wedding. We wanted something different to the usual sit down/stand up/sit down wedding reception, and Steve met every single one of our requests perfectly, from the canapes on arrival, through the fish and chips served in newspaper, followed by an evening buffet and then a sit down carvery dinner the following day, everything was spot on. Steve provided a mix of different types of foods meeting all of our guests tastes, including vegan and coeliac. The fish and chips was amongst the best I've ever tasted and the evening buffet was stunning. The carvery on Sunday was spot on as well, everything we wanted and Steve and his team made what was already a fantastic day perfect.I have to say I was shocked when I got the bill, I just couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was, for the quality it was a bargain, don't waste your time looking elsewhere, if Steve's available snap him up now. We used Cornwall Chef for our Wedding in October. Steve was amazing start to finish. We cannot thank him enough for how accommodating he was to make our day work exactly as we envisaged it. Not to mention barbecuing in the middle of a storm "sheltered" only by a gazebo! Fantastic - we booked 'Cornwall Chef' for; Friday night supper for 20 adults, and children's food for 15 for the Friday and Saturday nights, and a Sunday lunchtime BBQ for 24 adults and 19 children.
