What kind of accounting services do you provide?
On a basic level, I reconcile accounts and generate financial statements. I can also handle payables and receivables, budgeting, and miscellaneous other accounting tasks.
I do not provide payroll services, but I am partnered with a payroll provider who does.
Why is it so important for businesses to hire a great accountant?
A great bookkeeper frees up the time you spend on accounting tasks to be used in other areas, such as generating more business, or handling the day-to-day aspects of operations.
Books that are properly maintained allow you to reduce your tax burden and rest easy knowing the true financial state of your business. Well-maintained books also allow the business owner to identify problem areas and plan for the future.
What do you love most about your job?
The clients. I love taking the burden of bookkeeping off their shoulders and hearing about how they're using that time to do things they'd rather be doing.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like challenging myself, and one of the biggest challenges is growing a successful business.
