I've been going to Core Pilates Fitness and Nutrition for a few weeks now for Pilates. I was looking for a personal trainer but realized when I met Matt that Pilates might be an even better fit for what I am after as it will really ton up my core strength as well as the rest of the body. My first experience on the reformer machine was incredible. Matt, the instructor, is very knowledgeable about the body and Pilates and very thorough with his instructions. They offer group classes as well which is great as it makes it very affordable! I am looking forward in taking more classes at Core Pilates! More...

I've been working with Amanda and her nutrition program for awhile now with great success. I love the way it is all set up to where we have a constant contact with each other and she is really good in personalizing the process to where the program is unique for my own needs and my issues. I've had lots of issues with my gut and i was 30 lbs overweight. I have almost lost everything at this point and my gut is feeling better than ever. No more bloating and constipation. I am so happy I found her and can recommend her nutrition program to everyone, no matter what your goals are. It is also soooo affordable in comparison to any other nutrition program I've found. She is also so friendly and has very good knowledge in the field so I've learned a lot myself about health throughout this process. I always look forward to over weekly chats. More...

We often forget the importance of the nutrition. The food we eat is the material our bodies use to maintain and renew our whole system. If we do not give our bodies the right material the structure can only last for so long. With time different symptoms will arrive which the body often can heal if we just give it the right foods together with some possible supplements. When the body is out of its natural balance, different symptoms you might experience can be (but are not limited too): Weight Gain, Weight Loss, Chronic Pain, Thyroid issues, Osteoporosis, Mood Swings, Memory Issues, Irregular Bowl Movement, Bloating or upset stomach on a regular basis, Skin Issues, ADHD, Autoimmune Disease, Fibromyalgia, Degenerated Disk issues etc etc.

We work with customized packages where we can put together a plan that includes (but are not limited to) Pilates, personal training and nutritional coaching in a way that would benefit your particular situation. We find this to be one of the best approaches on the market as you will target your health goals from so many different directions which usually leads to a better success rate than just focus on one thing.

Knowledge, Dedication and Motivation which we as instructors help you out with a lot. Just knowing that you are working with someone that cares for you and want you to achieve your goals just as much as you do usually makes you more motivated and the chances of succeeding is by far a lot higher than if you are trying to do it all by yourself. The knowledge itself on how to do it, is the key as well. We always making sure you are progressing in a good but we also making sure that you learn more about health and fitness throughout this process making it easier for you to sustain the process later on in life. This is after all a life journey!

We love seeing people become healthier and happier. It is so much more than just losing a certain amount of pounds. It is about how you feel as a person and how you look at yourself. When you feel good about yourself your whole life changes to the better. We have been working with a lot of people that have had lots of chronic pain and issues that they thought they would have to accept and live with for the rest of their lives. To see these people improve their situations really makes us love our job even more. Or to see someone that have been dealing with weight issues for years or maybe their whole life getting to a point where they feel truly happy with their body again is just an amazing feeling. We have both had our own issues and injuries as well (Matt broke his back and Amanda delta with lots of foot, knee and hip pains as well as some weight issues) which makes us even more passionate about health and helping others reaching their goals as we know what a difference it can make in your everyday life.

Because of our own background and what we've been through ourselves, we are very passionate couple and knows how health can impact on a persons life and are therefore very dedicated to help each person that comes to us for help to make sure that together we can reach their goals. We are also a very powerful couple where we both are certified Pilates instructor, Matt is a certified personal training and Amanda is a certified nutritionist which makes us able to look at each case from a number of different angels.

We also offer personal training where we focus on your personal goals. This is a very unlimited approach where we are able to work with a variety of methods and different type of equipment depending on your personal goals. Together we will make sure that you are increasing your strength and reaching your specific health goals. Our personal trainer Matt is a great people person and are able to customize a work out plan where he makes sure that you keep progressing. He also has a very amazing talent in making it fun and enjoyable for the client as we do not want to forget that working out is suppose to be fun and will then make the rest of your day so much better. We are located in the heart of Folsom and have access to a broad variety of equipment.

We are also offering nutritional coaching where we work on a one on one approach that is completely individualized. All you have to do is to follow the weekly plan that we will provide. Your plan is personalized and can include, but is not limited to, diet, fitness, stress management, supplementation, lifestyle changes and will be based on your health goals. We start simple with just a few changes and each week we add a little bit more to your weekly plan, slowly creating new health habits into your life.) ​ - Recipe Recommendations (Together with your weekly plan you'll also get a few healthy and easy to make recipes, making it easier to stay with the program) ​ - Kitchen Makeover (optional) (Together we go through your kitchen, looking at labels and discussing what is good/bad items. Pilates is one of the best workouts for toning up and strengthening the body, especially the deep core muscle that are key for health and injury prevention. We work on overcoming current injuries or chronic pains/issues as well as just strengthening and lengthening the body in order to function and look better. We are using Reformer Machines which makes the workout a low impact for joint and therefore very safe for anyone to do. It is one of the best ways of rehabilitating and strengthening the body. We usually describe Pilates as being the glue that keeps your body together. With this strong bodily foundation in place you will be able to do everything else without hurting the body but as soon as the glue that keeps the body together gets weak we will eventually start to notice it in our body and might feel some pain or other types of limitations in our daily life.
