Copperbeech kennels and Cattery

Spencer and Baxter have just had their first stay at copper beech and seem to have had a lovely time. The staff are very friendly and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

We went away and it was the first time our pup had been in a kennels and away from us. They kept in contact and posted videos and photos of him which made us feel at ease. Just picked up Brutus (dog) and Cassius (cat) after their first time away from us. They were absolutely spoilt by the amazing staff at Copperbeech, and we are pretty sure they didn't want to come home! They can't wait till mum and dad go away again, and they get to go back to Copperbeech for more cuddles and fuss! More...

Left Mika my giddy labrador at copperbeech unsure if they would be able to handle him as he is a handful but had no reason to worry as he was in the capable hands of Nicola and her staff who handled him with great professionalism. Will be using these kennels again.

The best kennels EVER,when your dog wags her tail when she gets out of the car,you know she is happy and content,it is like home from home,just look at the photos and videos for yourself,they are on holiday too xxx

We left our pup Lola here for the first time and she loved it! I was very nervous leaving her but I needn’t have worried as she has been cared for as if she was their own! We have had pics and updates and she has had lots of fun. The kennels are clean and kept in great condition and all the staff we have met obviously care for all the animals. It was the first time at the kennels for my JUG puppies and I couldn't have wished for anyone better to take care of them. The premises are clean and well organised and cater for your pets every need. It really is a "Home away from home" for them. The staff were very understanding of my need to text and check in on my pups whilst I was away and I was very grateful for their patience and understanding. I highly recommend this place and look forward to using their wonderful services again in the near future. More...

My Princess has been for two over night stays as we where going to be going on holiday and didn't want to just leave her for two weeks all the staff very friendly and understanding I didn't need to have worried she absolutely loved it and is currently on her two weeks holiday at copperbeach and I can relax on my holiday knowing she is somewhere where she is happy enjoy yourself Princess Martha.

Pheobe ( Miniature Dashund ) is always excited to see the friendly faces of the staff, she goes running up those steps and through that gate for plenty of attention and cuddles, which is always happy to see when we are leaving her for her little ‘holiday’!
Love the photos you post to keep us up to date while we are away.�
Although she’s happy to see us at the end she’s always happy to go back.
Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Can't recommend CopperBeech enough. Our 2 dogs have just spent a week there. I was a bit apprehensive because one is only 9 months old and our other dog who is 6 has never been in kennels before. They both loved it and were really settled there. We were able to enjoy our holiday safe in the knowledge that they were both being well cared for and having a great time. We left our two fur babies here whilst we were attending a wedding in Derby and I must admit was dreading it. My dogs hadn’t been in boarding kennels before but Copperbeech put my mind at rest. As soon as they arrived they settled in well and were made a fuss of by all staff. They are fabulous! My Peke x chihuahua is particularly nervous but as we arrived to pick them up she had made herself quite comfy on someone’s lap, managing to sneak in one last cuddle. Left our staffie Stella at CopperBeach for just over 2 weeks. We were a little worried about leaving Stella as she was 15 in February and whilst she looks great for an old lady, she is starting to show typical signs of an ageing dog. We have always left Stella in kennels in the past, however last year she wasn't very good when she came home, so this made us a little unsure this year. We decided to look for alternative kennels and came across CopperBeach Kennels, read their reviews and they seemed really good. We arranged a visit and felt instantly reasurred that we were leaving Stella in the best place. We picked Stella up on Tuesday morning and she was in great shape. Since she has come home, she has settled into her normal routine and has been eating well (usually she has been off her food for a few days in the past) She appears happy and has been extremely lively. This was the first time we had used CopperBeach Kennels and would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for taking such good care of an old lady. We will definitely use you again. More...

We can highly recommend copperbeach kennels. Peanut has been going for the past 14 and a half years since only being a few months old. When jean sold the kennels, due to illness, we could have found a kennel nearer to home but decided to give the new owners a chance. Nicola and her staff are fantastic. The dedication and love given by Nicola to peanut made it so much easier for us to leave him whilst we were away on holiday. Nothing was too much trouble and when picking peanut up we could see how happy he had been during his stay. Peanut’s last visited copper beach in June this year, his health wasn’t good and whilst we were away he took a turn for the worst. Nicola was in constant contact with us and when his back legs went, it was the best and kindest decision to have him put to sleep. Nicola went above and beyond and took him to our vets and stayed with him till the end. We cannot ever thank her enough for this as it must have been as upsetting for her as it was for us, whilst we were in Gran Canaria. We can honestly say, with us being away on holiday, he couldn’t have had a more caring person with him during his final moments.
Thankyou so much from the bottom of our hearts Nicola and staff.
