Copper View Animal Hospital

First off, I am a tough reviewer and my dog is very special to me so take this review seriously! I wish I could give them 10 STARS! !! My experience at Copper View Animal Hospital has been PERFECT. I can't express to you how much I love this place and most importantly the staff and  our special vets, Dr. Hope Teyler and Dr. Nathan Stefanoff (the greatest vets to ever walk the earth). My dog had developed a large fatty tumor that had to be removed. The whole experience was so good. From the diagnosis with Dr. Teyler to the surgery and after care with Dr. Stefanoff. One amazing thing they did a couple days after the surgery is I got home late from work and noticed my dog was visibly in pain and struggling. I called Dr. Stefanoff after hours on his cell phone which had given to us after the surgery. He immediately dropped what he was doing and came in after hours to attend to the need of our sweet lab. They really care at Copper View. I've moved a bunch of times - to different states, and I always have a hard time finding a vet that I like, who's prices are good. Copper View is amazing. They took the best care of our Great Dane, from the day we got her, to the day she passed. The staff is very knowledgeable, attentive, and I honestly feel they treat your pet as if it were their own. One of my favorite things is they will inform you of all the possible treatment options, but then help you pick the best one for you and your dog (meaning they don't guilt-trip you into buying some superfluous treatment you don't need). Their prices are very fair, and we have always felt they have given us 5-star care.On a personal note, I am very grateful for the compassion and assistance they gave us when it was time for our dog to be put down. Dr. Teyler is the most caring and knowledgeable vet I’ve ever been to. I’ve had to bring my senior dog into her twice in the past 2 months (once with back problems the other with stomach upset). She was able to diagnose and get my dog on the right medications both times and my dog was feeling better both times within a few days, and I wasn’t overcharged with doing unnecessary testing. We are new pet owners and when our kitten came down with a mysterious illness we called this hospital because of the great reviews and proximity to our home. They weren't sure when I called if it was anything serious but they fit us in to be seen anyways.When they discovered kitty had a very high fever and very few physical symptoms they were kind and careful but, appreciatively, they gave us a clear picture of the possible outcomes from the beginning so we were prepared. They were gentle and loving with our kitten and with us.We were given complete control and choice over what tests we wanted run and the exact cost of each. They didn't perform any tests we didn't authorize and didn't push anything on us that they didn't feel was above what was absolutely necessary. Thankfully, our outlook appears less serious than it could have been and we were sent home with great advice and a treatment plan. We brought our puppy to Copper View after our previous vet told us she had bad kidneys and there was nothing we could do and she probably wouldn't live longer than a year. When we brought her here the staff and Dr's took such good care of her and took the time to find out the real reason she was having problems. They got her on a different diet and some medication and she is now 100% healthy with no issues! She gets blood work done here regularly and just had another surgery performed by one of the amazing vets and she still gets excited when we take her here. This is the best vet hospital that I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot. I have 4 dogs who are my children and want them to be treated as such. Dr. Teyler is the most caring vet I have ever had, she truly cares for my dogs the way I would want to be cared for by a doctor. They are very busy, which I think just goes to show how incredibly good they are. However even with how busy they are, especially the front office staff, they are INCREDIBLY kind and considerate. We could not be happier we were referred to Copper View Animal Hospital! There is not enough room here for all the praise I have to give for our experience here! We left another vet that we had taken all our pups to for 20+ years. The care at the other vet severely declined. our beagle had been experiencing so much pain. when I took him in to our other vet, they made me feel aweful and kept pushing me to put him down. I left feeling aweful and not getting any answers for our boy! Then we came here! instead of having to pay $100 for a visit alone and wait two weeks, despite the horrible pain our boy was experiencing, Copper View got us in same day! Dr. Stefenoff was absolutely amazing! listened to everything we had to explain about our boy and noticed right off what was going on! We got some real meds that actually helped our boy, unlike our previous vet who prescribed "pain meds" that do not help with pain in dogs! Our boy was a whole new pup! he is on the mend and will require extra attention, but we're happy to give it. Everyone there is kind and amazing! Awesome techs and vets who really care and relate! Not to mention the cost.... shocked at the fraction of the cost it was compared to where we were going!!! truly, can not recommend them enough! I spend much time at the hospital, because like me, my animals are all seniors. I trust the employees to care for my pets, like I would, and tell me when it's time for them to pass on. Copper View Animal Hospital is the true definition of excellence. Not only do were take our furry friends there but recommend them to anyone we know. We've had the opportunity to work with them on a wide range of pet wellness issues and they never disappoint. Every Doctor, every staff member here is genuinely invested in their animals. Dr. Teyler is the most amazing Vet, I have ever been fortunate enough to have on our side. Every Vet there is wonderful and will treat you and your pet, as their own. Just yesterday, we visited CVAH, to say goodbye to one of my Mom's long time companions. The sheer compassion and love we experienced was awe inspiring. The vet and vet Tech (Rachel) shed tears with the rest of us. The love and compassion for the animals they treat and the animals they lose, says everything. Special shout out to Rachel. Copper View is the bees knees! I have never been to a clinic where my pet and I both feel so welcome and are treated very well. The staff love your pets, they truly treat them like their own. I am confident to say you won’t find the care and the prices that Copper View offers else where. Dr. K just treated my puppy for worms and administered vaccines. He was very thorough throughout the exam and explained everything in great detail. My puppy, Pete the Pug, loved him as well! The technicians are so kind and always offer a smile and a compliment, as well as the receptionists! My dog broke a toenail down to the nail bed. I took her one place where the vet didn't even look at her and they didn't give her the attention she needed. I gave it a few days per their instructions but it bent real bad on a Saturday morning. I called back and they wouldn't take her because they were full, I called around and same thing. I couldn't leave her like that, but Copperview made arrangements to bring her in. They were professional, the vet was great, they took care of it the correct way and my dog was better in no time. I cannot recommend this vet enough. Dr Teyler is the best vet I have ever met. She is so caring and really cares. From the moment you walk into the door you can feel the love and caring from all of the staff. As soon as you walk in the door the office staff are helping you get everything you need together. The vet techs are amazing and always smiling and are so wonderful with the animals. Dr. Teyler keeps you informed and is so caring and compassionate. She helped us after another emergency vet had told us we were going to lose our 10 month old puppy- which was in fact not true. She made sure we knew everything that was going on, and made sure that we were completely comfortable. I am so grateful. We will never take our pup anywhere else. More...

Myself and my dog (Loki) loves Copper view animal hospital. Unfortunately my dog was hit by a car a few months back and suffered some injuries to his front right leg. The original vet that worked on him did a great job putting him back together but I also wanted a second opinion if his leg. The staff at copper took really good care of us and Loki every time he needed bandages changed and check ups. I am happy to report that Loki is doing awesome and almost back to normal. My dog( more like my best friend ) that I've had for 9 years suddenly couldn't walk. I ran him to an emergency vet office since it was about 1 AM. They told me that I couldn't help him unless I got an MRI that cost about $3000 to be paid in full. I couldn't afford that at the time. So we made it through the night and went to Dr. Teyler. She was simply put, amazing. She did a intensive examination of him and understood where I was with my ability in paying for his care. She told me we would do everything we could do to make sure he could get better. After a week of her recommendations and giving him medication he could walk again! When we went for our follow up everyone that worked there remembered him and told me they had been thinking about him all week and how great of a dog he was and how much they wanted him to get better. A week after he was cleared as completely healthy. They worked as hard to get him healthy like he was their dog. Her "bedside manner" was respectful and honest and determined. I cannot thank everyone there enough for their hard work and excellence in veterinary medicine. I get to keep my best friend for many more years to come. Not only that they were very reasonable with their prices and even didnt charge me for some follow ups. After he was back to normal we determined he also has an environmental allergy and gave him a shot that that no side affects and it works! After 1 day I could tell he felt so much better! I will be going to them with all 3, yes 3, of my dogs. They are simply amazing! More...

After discovering our cat walking with a slight limp, we decided to take her in to Copper View. Better safe than sorry. When our playful 4 month old kitten wasn't acting like herself and cowering under the couch, my mind went to the worst. We chose this hospital because it was close to the house, not knowing how incredibly friendly, helpful and fast the services were. There was a bit of a snafu with the online appointment request system (I requested an appointment on their website, not knowing that it was just a request and not an actual booking) but the front desk receptionists saw our online request and accommodated us on the spot. We got right in to see a veterinarian assistant and doctor and they immediately calmed our nerves, gave our kitten a thorough examination and gave treatment options. My experience was a good one. The staff is caring, upfront about charges, and willing to hear my concerns and honor my wishes. The facility is not only very clean but modern and well cared for. I cant say enough about how impressed I was with this animal clinic. The professionalism was top notch. Luckily our beautiful pup is recovering nicely from her injury. The Doctor did a great job. He provided us with all the medications and supplies we need to nurse her back to health. He even gave us a call on the evening of our visit to check on her! I would absolutely go here again. Best staff and doctors (dog-tors ha!).  They always work to give us options, up front about costs, and love our pets.  The doctors and staff know how important our pets are and how stressful the whole process can be, and they work hard to give us peace of mind in every situation.  We had to put our cat to sleep and everyone in the office was so understanding and kind.  They even have a special room and requested quiet in the office while we said goodbye.  They even sent us a condolence card- its probably standard, but it still meant everything to us.  We have been going there for about 6 years and will continue with all of our pets.
