I came here for a distillery tour/tasting. The tour was fantastic! Our tour guide was so nice, fun, and very knowledgeable about everything being produced. The distillery is cool to see and it is in a cool part of Louisville! I also really enjoyed the tasting. All the spirits they produce are great! I ended up buying a bottle! I highly recommend this tour! More...
Wonderful servers and absolutely amazing drinks. Stop in for a tour and a great experience!
Wonderful tour and a great tasting experience. Looking forward to visit again when I come back to Louisville.
This place was amazing! From the minute attention to detail in every aspect of their property and buildings, to the warm and welcoming staff (including our awesome host/tour guide Drew), to the great lunch we had at Alex& nders, to the experience of enjoying some heavy bass music with the barrels in the rick room, and finally tasting and personally bottling our own brandies directly from the barrel, I can't say enough wonderful things about Copper & Kings. This is a MUST-SEE on any trip to The Lou or the Bourbon Trail!!!!! More...
I had my father in town and wanted to do something different and I happened to have 2 free tickets for a tour. The place is very cool visually. The entrance (check-in area) is in one of the shipping container's on the right when you walk towards the entry way. I was really hoping to see the roof deck since it's been mentioned in prior tours. It honestly was the reason I wanted to do the tour, Unfortunately, the roof deck was occupied for a private event. The tour itself was cool. It would be a good "things to do" type event. More...
Dion had great energy! Learned a ton about Brandy. Be sure to stop at the Alex&nder afterwards for cocktails!
Great Views of downtown Louisville. Awesome menu and food was delicious!!! Perfect place to hang with friends and have a few drinks!!?
Whoohoo love this place!
We are locals, we brought two couples here for a tour last weekend. We were given an excellent tour by the knowledgeable and passionate Drew. I admit, I understand distillation, but I didn't understand all the nuances of the production, nor did I know about the history of Brandy in America. We had an informative tour, ending with an intimate tasting in a small room. I still struggle with a taste for Brandy, but they are quite good. The cherries in the gift shop are delicious! What a wonderful addition to our city; this is a terrific event space as well. They distill other spirits as well, very interesting. You can pour your personal bottle at end of tour, fun! More...
This is a great tour, product, people and marketing. We just returned from a weekend trip to Louisville and we decided to sign up for a time to tour a local distallary that isnt a drive away. These guys are located in Butchertown and so after bfast we sauntered over and joined the tour. Great tour that was perfectly un-stuffy and instead with a harder edge. The love of music pushed us over the top. If you are not a tour person, their product is amazing. They are so aware of who they are and what they wont to offer. They made me enjoy brandy. It drinks like one. They are seasoned and get it. Jason More...
One of the best bars in the city - with an amazing staff, dope service, innovative cocktail list, brilliant view, and unbridled passion for the industry.
Four stars for the effort - three stars for the products. Copper & Kings tries several innovative things. The also play music near their aging barrels. The party room / tasting room is very comfortable. If only we liked their brandy better.. More...

Had an excellent time viewing the distillery. Beautiful place to visit and have a sip. Nick was our tour guide and did a great job showing my family around. Thank you Copper & Kings for providing us an awesome day. More...
Coper and Kings was the best distillery tour I've been on. I love doing something new and if you want to shake it up from the same old same old bourbon tour this is the place to go. Not only do they have this simple industrial look that is real cool but it's very small batch and you can tell everyone in the company is close which makes the whole tour feel more intimate and unique. Our tour guide was Drew Pomeroy and he was so great at being informative and entertaining. I feel like I really knew what the company was about and what the people who worked there were like after the tour. On most tours I've been on you don't get to try that many different items at the end. That is NOT the case here. If you are on a smaller tour you get to try 6 different items of your choice which is perfect because they do Brandy, Gin, Absinth and Liquors. They will even make a little cocktail for you if you can't handle your liquor straight. They have an awesome bar on top of the distillery that just recently started making food too that it totally worth checking out if you can't make a tour. The prices are really great for something craft and unique. I loved their gin and my dad bought one of their Brandy's that are only available on the tour (they have super small batch brandy that you can only buy on the tour which is really cool because you are 1 of several hundred that ever get to own it). Definitely worth checking out even if you are visiting for the bourbon because a lot of their brandy is in bourbon barrels. More...
*Updated reviewThe tour team is knowledgable and tell a great story about the brandy but their rooftop bar is where it's t. The scenery isn't much but the vibe is good and you can grab a bite to eat. The cocktails they offer highlight the brandy as a spirit and not just a "sipper". You get a true idea of what else you could do with the bottle of apple brandy you're definitely going to want to buy before leaving. More...
Small, new craft distillery of mostly Brandy in copper kettles. Tour takes about an hour and ends in your choice of two additional varieties of brandy, Gin or Absinthe. Wonderful event space can be rentedout. They are open to experimenting with different aging processes with different used barrels. Fyi...wine barrels are ~60 gallons versus bourbon barrels @ 52 gallons More...
This is a hip spot! They have tours of the distillery and it is pretty impressive. Learn about their products and processes to create them. They have a 2nd floor party room. The third floor is the bar and rooftop deck. The view of the city sky scape is great and a bonus. The soccer stadium is also right behind you. The front is made of shipping containers and has a modern vibe. With several different flavors to try and the cool vibe of the place, I would recommend it to friends looking for a good bar. More...

This is a BEAUTIFUL place to get married, my daughter chose this place for her wedding this past weekend and before the wedding I was on the 2nd floor at the bar and these 2 African American young ladies were the epitome of customer service, they knew their product, their customers and they were so pleasant to talk to. GREAT job at diversity Copper n kings!!! More...

Brandy, liquor, and absinthe. Very nice tour. Very knowledgeable staff.
Top shelf tour!OK, I'm playing hometown tourist here, but take into account I have been on all sorts of tasting tours from Napa Valley to New Zealand, from Bourbon country to beer halls, and this one is one of the best. Certainly it's one of the coolest.Copper & Kings is ultra hip. You'll pick up on that right away. They're young, they're creative and they're fun. So is the tour. It's so very interesting to see what they're doing, to learn about brandy and to try all their many samples. My favorite -- the cellar where the colorfully labeled barrels are played music to bring out the flavors in the spirits. Seriously. It's science. But you can also download their daily playlists online. So cool! The tasting has so many options it's hard to choose. They even have mixers and garnishes so you can make a cocktail. Wow. Finally, the distillery is also a venue. It's a colorful, creative and different spot to hold an event. I love it. Upstairs is a cocktail bar, Alex&nder, where I highly recommend the drink with grapefruit soda and brandy. I can't remember the name, but everyone in my party loved it and some had more than one! More...
This was where the Cattitude party was that I attended so I don't really know anything about the actual place/business itself other than I remember it was very roomy, decorated nicely and had a place outside designated for smokers.
We had drinks and snacks on the roof top patio. The service was great and food delicious and fast. We enjoyed the drinks and will go back the next time we are in Louisville.
What an eye-opening experience.
We visited the distillery and were very impressed with the property's unique vibe. You can certainly tell that a lot of thought and care went into the design of the location and their products. Loved all the natural and environmentally friendly aspects woven into the experience. Our guided tour was really cool experience. Seeing how the brandy and other spirits were made and how they incorporate music, recycled barrels and all natural spices and flowers was super interesting. The tasting itself was very good. They have a lot of variations you can try as well as a unique area where you can bottle, label, and take home some of their one-time-only creations. They have a spectacular restaurant/bar with an amazing view and a large tasting room that can be rented out for events. I would totally recommend visiting and trying their brandies and other liquors. Well this was a random adventure. I enjoyed this tour and learned a few things. Our tour guide was great. $17 for the tour/tasting.

Loved this place. Came here for an event as part of a big weekend and was treated well. Great distillery that made a large amount of spirits. Their tasting room was terrific as were the staff. Awesome brandy, informative tour and tasty products. They make brandy, liqueur and gin. Not a bourbon distillery, so if you have hit the bourbon tours this is a change. This is a wonderful distillery. We learned so much and had a fun time. The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Learning about the distilling process was fascinating and being able to go on the floor where the distill is happening was very cool . This was actually my second time doing the tour and I enjoyed every bit of it. Make sure to go up to the rooftop bar and get a drink at Alexander's. They had great happy hour specials and it's a beautiful place to relax. More...

Our group of five toured the facility on a sunny Sunday afternoon in July. The grounds are modern and clean, appealing to the eye, even including a butterfly garden for monarchs during their migration. The brand is very thoughtfully put together without feeling stuffy or overly commercial; they've successfully blended Louisville's small town charm with brandy's sophistication. The tour is worth the cost to learn more about Copper & Kings' history, brand, and operations, not to mention it provides a tasting session that is truly unique from that of nearby bourbon distilleries. Include enough time at the end for a visit to the upstairs bar Alex&nder. After having tasted the cocktails and experienced the view, our group was eager to schedule a return trip. Copper & Kings is an outstanding addition to Butchertown and I'm proud to call them local. More...
I'm a bourbon guy. But I've done almost all of the bourbon distillery tours when I've come into town for vacation. So I decided to give Copper & Kings a try and boy was it worth while! I'm not really...let me rephrase...I was not really a Brandy fan before this trip. Maybe it's getting to see where its distilled, aged and bottled that makes it mean that much more, or maybe it's because they make a really great set of products. They have an assortment of different brandies, depending on variables like fruit, barrels, and aging time. Drew was our tour guide and he was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, clearly he was proud of the products made by the company he works for and his passion/enthusiasm was contagious. If you think you're not a Brandy fan, give these folks a try. They let you taste any three of 18+ brandies/gins/absinthes/liqueurs they have available as part of the tour package. This is a great "non-Bourbon" tour that's going to introduce you to Brandy and you won't be disappointed. One more thing: They have a bar up on the third floor where you can order cocktails or enjoy flights of the brandies and gins. Do it. Prices are very reasonable and it's a great way to try add'l spirits for a very low price. More...
love this place everything excellent!!!
It's a wonderful free tour and the view and cocktails are a phenomenal end to the experience! Only Brandy distillery in Kentucky!
Took a gamble and branched out with a brandy distillery instead of bourbon. Opened our eyes up to a whole new world. Who knew we'd love brandy? The distillery in interested is amazing. Super modern, hip, trendy & SUSTAINABLE! The tour is free, which is absolutely awesome. The staff was very friendly, everyone there just seemed like they were having a good time. The staff here is very gracious and the Brandy is excellent. The grounds are beautiful as well as the view of downtown Louisville from the rooftop bar and lounge. Did the free tour and tasting. So awesome. Everyone was sooooooo friendly and the tasting options were great. Tasty spirits to boot.
Very educational and interesting tour and tasting. Great history of brandy's in Kentucky. Recommend it for those interested in unique distillery experience. The sonic aging was so awesome and the "playlist". More...
Great 45 min tour. Beautiful little distillery and a change of pace to the bourbon trail
With this being a newer distillery, they have some work to do to develop history, but that will come in time. This tour was a bit less robust than others in KY since there was a little less to do, see and explore, but I'm sure it will get better over time. What they were missing is an interactive component like a video or something that told the Copper and Kings story like I saw on a few other tours during my visit to Louisville. All in all, this tour took about 45 - 50 minutes. They have a great space, and I liked that the tasting, at the end of the tour, was in the event space, which is very artistic and the room carried through their orange branding. I booked this tour as a combo pass with the Kentucky Derby Museum through Marriott Tours & Activities. This is a new offering that allows members the opportunity to book and collect Marriott points. What a great way to reward your members. Bravo, Marriott and Copper and Kings for participating! More...
I realize you're in Kentucky, the home of bourbon, but you owe it to yourself, your taste buds, and to the craft of liquor distilling to take the tour here. Savor the fruit essences as the brandy oils coat the inside of your mouth, warm you to your core and expose you to the mastery of craft brandy. I first visited here in 2016 and brought a few bottles home to North Carolina to convert my bourbon friends to this magical elixir. It is the most beautiful and flavorful mashup of brandy with the savory depth of bourbon that lingers from the barrel aging. It truly is a transformative experience to taste their craft and be enlightened to the expanse of well made brandy. More...
I frequent this place and love every min I am there.
Excellent tour, great tasting! Thanks
The tour was great! Our tourist was great. The Brandy flavors were great!!! I feel like I've been missing out on brandy. Beautiful day!! Very cool place. The rooftop bar, which was not open yet, was beautiful. They are still working on the lower area but looks like a fun time when it’s finished. Good tour. Free!!
Such a cool place! The tour is free and well worth taking. The tour guide was super nice. It was cool how to see how brandy is made. The tasting at the end was good and you get to try three of their very unique spirits. The shop has all of their products on sale, from cherries to absinthe. Highly recommend copper and crown if you are in the area. The parking in front is free. The cellar is cool because they play music for the brandy, and the highlight of the tour. Be sure to check out their Spotify page to listen to what your favorite brandy is listening to. More...
Went here on a pretty miserable weather day and they still made the tour very fun and informative. Great space/well thought out campus, great bar-- definitely go in a group as they have so much to taste and you are limited on what you can try. We ended up picking up some of their higher end brandies and bitters. Highly recommend if you want a break from whiskey More...
I’ll admit I was a little skeptical taking a brandy distillery tour in the heart of bourbon country, but boy am I glad I did! I’d recommend it.
Known for brandy, and it is amazing, however they also make the best gin I've ever tasted.
Our guide Macy had the best personality & she was very informative. This was the first time I had brandy & it was smoother than I thought. I would highly recommend anyone, local or from out of town, to stop by Copper & Kings. More...
Copper & Kings is a really cool distillery to visit and a bit of a break from the many whiskey distilleries in the Louisville area. Their facility stands out easily in Butchertown with their black and orange paint scheme. The gift shop and waiting areas are both pretty small, but filled with interesting items to look at or purchase. Jessica took just the two of us on a tour that lasted about 45 minutes. She did a wonderful job of explaining how they make their products in detail and answered any questions that came up. She also did a terrific job of guiding us through a tasting and gave us great suggestions of what to try based on what types of spirits that we enjoy. At the end she also gave us suggestions on other spots in the area to check out before we left town, which was super helpful. She was outstanding!Copper & Kings is something you definitely need to check out if you're in Louisville and have about an hour of free time. They put their own interesting twist in a typical distillery tour that makes it worth your while, AND IT'S FREE! More...
Wonderful evening and event to raise money for backstretch!!!

First, let's do away with the notion that brandies are for old ladies and monks. Distilled like whiskey, these spirits will put you on to your butt faster than most brown liquors or even high proof cachaça. Copper and Kings is, first and foremost, a distillery. That they have an evening craft bar atop it, which is the icing on the proverbial alcohol-soaked cake. There's also a huge front yard for summer partying The distillery tour is surprisingly free. One of the weird and wonderful things about it happens in the basement. They play the barrels of brandy loud, bass-heavy music. This supposedly vibrates them to keep the aging brandy moving about. You have to try the brandy flight, even if the mixed cocktails are tempting, at their upstairs bar. Ok. Who am I to push you around? Do the mixed drinks. Then you'll just never know the glow. So there. Good food is nearby. Yelp it as you stagger responsibly over to it. More...
A bunch of good people making some good drinks
Margaret conducted a remarkable tour, providing insightful information and enthusiastic fervor. The property is slick and well manicured. Their products demonstrate incredible range and depth of flavor. Definitely consider their special hand bottling options, including unique barrel finishes and base spirits. Every product I tasted has exceeded expectations substantially. Their craft orientation delivers flavors many of the big guys, despite their popularity, fail to present. More...
This is one of the best sisters tours I've been on! They did a great job explaining the difference between bourbon, whiskey, brandy, gin and absinthe. They make brandy, gin, absinthe, some flavored liqueurs and flavored sodas. The tour was free, you get three tastings and to keep your glass. Often times when I go on tours, I don't want to buy anything afterwards, but I had trouble only selecting two. I also really appreciate that Copper and Kings is so focused on sustainability. They are a haven for monarch butterflies and use all renewable energy. They offer the opportunity to bottle your bottle and have an amazing outdoor seating area. Their rack room is one of the best smelling places I've ever been. Seriously, if there was a candle, I'd buy that too. They also do sonic aging and the playlist of the day is a really fun feature. I would highly, highly recommend this place, even if you aren't normally a spirits type of drinker. More...

Fun and different experience! This is a bit off the beaten path of distillery tours in many ways. It is a smaller facility and thus the whole experience is more intimate. Great tour with Macy. Highly recommend, she is awesome.
The tour was really awesome. I was not a brandy fan going in, but a big bourbon fan. Macy, our tour guide, assured me her goal was to change that by the end of the tour. She succeeded. I toured Cooper and Kings on chilly Thursday morning with my husband and six-year-old son. The grounds were under construction during our visit, but in better weather, they will offer a host of cozy nooks and crannies for guests, including a reflecting pool and lovely outdoor seating. Our tour guide was incredibly energetic and knowledgeable about the brandy and gin-making process, and let us get quite close to their stills, bottling operation, and aging barrels in the basement. We even got to listen to some rock and roll with the aging barrels (Sex Pistols, to be precise) since the barrels are "sonically aged" using sound waves to vibrate the spirit inside. It was fun to stand in the middle of the stacks with our hands on the barrels and feel them vibrate with the music. This is one of the best tours in town for kids, as they absolutely get to be part of the tour and tasting action. Our son was allowed to pick out an unused bottle label to take home (it just looked like a big sticker to him!), AND he got his very own tasting upstairs as Copper and Kings makes sodas in addition to their alcoholic fare. He was a big fan of the cream soda and root beer. We were big fans of the Butchertown Brandy and Moons of Juniper gin. A great urban bourbon tour for the whole family! More...
Just awesome great tour and brandy
The tour was awesome an our tour guide, Krista was very informative, I learned so much about the process in distilling brandy. The tasting was very nice. Very interesting back story and love the "reuse" of materials. Friendly staff and complimentary mule was delicious! Oh- and did you know they "rock" their brandy to sleep each night! Only negative was parking- let's just say I'm glad I had decently comfortable shoes, we had to park down the street quite a distance. More...
Real nice place that are doing great things
Copper and Kings is probably the coolest place you can find in the Butchertown area. Not only can you take tours here, but they host events all the time and they are so much fun! ! Copper and Kings is a brandy distillery, and while I haven't taken the time to go on a tour myself yet, the whole place is really nice. They have a great open space in the front for events/hanging out, and also have a fabulous new rooftop bar. I was in a Rocky Horror shadow cast a couple years ago (which they now do twice a year) and I remember how friendly all of the staff were when we were setting up. It always is a great impression when employees will come up, shake your hand and introduce themselves. I have also been to their Porktoberfest, which was also a ton of fun, and it's nice to see that they invite all of the neighborhood businesses to partake in the event! Alex&nder is probably one of my favorite bars near the downtown area. It's got a breath-taking view, has fantastic cocktails and friendly staff. Copper and Kings is on the top of my list for best distilleries in Louisville. They are very active with the community, have delicious brandy and know how to host a great event! More...
Went for their New Year's Eve event. The place was great, the group hosting the event I feel was a little overwhelmed with the outcome. The upstairs bar stayed busy all night. The view from the rooftop bar is incredible though. More...

We enjoyed their New Years Day brunch a lot!
I love the view of downtown at night from the 3rd story bar
Very friendly staff. Excellent products.
Awesome distillery, great facility and informative staff. Very cool
Cool vibe and love what they're doing with spirits.
Great Tour Guide and such a fun & unique place!
This place is amazing! We did a tour with Drew and had a BLAST. Interesting, informative, historical. The tasting really took the tour over the the top! Definitely recommended for anyone who loves a good time. More...
Super Fun tour Ms Maci Thank you so very much! We will be back!
I really enjoy this place. They have a unique product for the area (Brandy, not Bourbon). It is interesting to go on a tour that is different than just, "this is Bourbon, Bourboning as Bourbon does," or, "Here we have our IPA machines that make the same IPA as all the other IPA you have available to your whiteness! " It's less of the same. I'm here for it. The tour is interesting and you learn a lot about the company, Brandy, and the process unique to Copper & Kings. This tour takes you up and down stairs so keep that in mind if you're not super mobile. After the tour you can go up to Alexander and have a drink. The rooftop bar is amazing! Copper & Kings also hosts a lot of community events. It is a space to watch for fun year round that isn't all drinking and carrying on. This is a wonderful addition to our city. More...

Cool atmosphere.... great drinks!
Tour by Macy & tasting — excellent!!
Loved this place. I learned a lot about brandy and the have some really cool event spaces.
Clarissa was GREAT. Leaned so much about Brandy lol
Cindy Conyers Mines
Very cool place to learn about the distillation of brandy spirits. Loud Rock music keeps the barrels jumping so they don’t have to be turned! Probably go back with others!
I'm going to give them 5 stars despite the construction still going on. The staff was so knowledgeable and friendly that it was barely noticeable. Went with my girlfriends and we all had a great time. Started with a tour of the facility then headed to the tasting room where we were able to taste an array of products made there. After the tasting we headed to their bar where we enjoyed several specialty drinks (there was a charge for those). When you leave you are allowed to purchase any of the products they make, some of which you get to bottle yourself. Great time had by all. More...
Very cool bar! A popular spot for my friends and I to get drinks on a nice night out.
Drew was a great tour guide! not just for the tour but gave us great local suggestions for food as well. we weren't sure we would pick Copper & Kings since it was more about brandy than Bourbon. . this was hands down our favorite distillery of the 5 we toured while in Louisville. highly recommended! thank you, Drew! (from Minnesota) More...
Always worth a stop when in Louisville!
Great story, tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and the distillation process.
Very educational, and a really fun place to spend an hour or so!
The tour was awesome. Clarissa was an excellent tour guide and all of the products we tasted were excellent.
The young lady giving the tour was very knowledgeable; impressively so but sadly, she lacked people skills.
I am doing their magical limited gin.
Cool place. Short tour but very informative. Was there with the Bourbon Brotherhood and enjoyed their event space. Didnt get a chance to see Alex&Nder but some of the guys did and said it was nice. I plan to go back and check it out. More...
This is a fabulous place. The architecture caught my eye and the brown and orange color on the outside. I have never been to a distillery before although Iived in Louisville for 17 years. The distillery process is truly fascinating. Our tour guide was Drew and you could hear the passion in his voice about the place. Very very enjoyable. I would go back again and hopefully the next time we are in Louisville they will have something going on there. I do not think anyone will be disappointed with the visit More...
My recent tour at Copper and Kings was great! The tour guide was knowledgeable and it was apparent that he was very passionate about the distillery and products. The space is beautiful and modern. I toured this distillery on a chilly November day, I am looking forward to visiting again when it is warmer to truly enjoy the beautiful grounds and rooftop bar. The brandy was great and unlike other tours, the guide will actually mix you an Old Fashioned for one of your tastings. It was delicious! More...

Tour was great & tasting was absolutely excellent! really unique & fun, glad we got a recommendation to visit this place
Had a great time. Tour was good, Jessica was informative and knowledgeable. Went to the upstairs bar after the tastings and had drinks that were delicious.
On a great fall afternoon Copper & Kings. Wether day or night of entertaining friends, a date or out of town guests C&K is a wonderful experience. Distilling brandy and spirits of several types you can taste at the "Alex&der" rooftop lounge or take a great tour to learn of the interesting and successful distillery process There it a expansive outdoor patio as well as green space and reflecting pool before entering three story Distillery, 2nd floor special occasion and event space, the 3rd rooftop patio / lounge and of course the cellar barrel aging floor. The cellar is only available on the tour, a must see! This was my second visit and a friends first we both enjoyed the entire experience and highly recommend you to bring your friends and out of town guests to visit the only brandy distillery in Kentucky. So don't wait to enjoy one of Louisville's newest and tasty adventures. Note; Exceptional friendly service. Located in the Butchertown area. I would like them to add a full restaurant. Small front parking lot, street parking and there maybe parking areas I'm unaware of. More...
Really neat tour and great product
This was by far one of the best Distillery tours we have ever been on!! So much fun and the tour guide was amazing!
Ellie Thomas Cox
Cool place for a wedding. We really enjoyed the tour during the cocktail hour. It is really neat how they use music in their aging process.
Great atmosphere! A great people. Drinks are costly. Great Dj!
Amazing place. Absolutely beautiful! Staff is super friendly and accommodating. They offered free tours to louder than life ticket holders and squeezed us in an already over overbooked tour. I was able to bottle my own bottle of absinthe after the tour, so amazing. More...
Wonderful place for a wedding. I loved that they still did tours! Great atmosphere
Macy was very nice and the place is beautiful with great alcohol
Beautiful, new facilities with a great outdoor space I'm sure will become more popular as the surrounding neighborhood builds up. Definitely different than the other distilleries in Louisville but interesting, educational and tasty nonetheless! Only complaint would be they don't change/rinse the tasting glass between tastings. Like, We just spent 30min learning about all the work that goes into making the various products and different flavors and then the samples just get poured overtop each other More...

Great party , windy but brandy keeps you warm, above friendly hosts
Love Copper & Kings. Tonight was ATG Bo & Luke day. Lots of live music and first try of the variants. So much fun.
Had a wonderful time here today!! Clarissa was very informative. Prefer brandy over bourbon so was a great trade today!!! Thank you!!!
Awesome tour guide Jessica. Cool place
Had fun tour was great thanks to a great bartender
What a pleasant surprise and interesting experience!! Loved it!
We loved our visit! Clarissa was an amazing tourguide- she knew everything about the distilling process and company, and she made the tour really fun. Copper and Kings is doing a lot of really cool things, has a neat location and we loved everything we tasted. We will definitely visit again! More...
Different type of distillery with an upscale rustic vibe. Excellent orange curaco. Drinks are rather spendy but unusual and delicious. Sunset view from the upstairs terrace is breathing. Plenty of parking and easy access off I-64. More...
Must see distillery tour and rooftop lounge. Great for a day, evening cocktails, view, parties and special events
We had the pleasure of visiting Copper and Kings last. It is a lovely location. The view from the 3rd floor offered an opportunity to see a glorious sunset while enjoying one of their signature cocktails. I highly suggest the Guns and Rose when you visit. Their beverages are made with fresh ingrediants and the bartender thoughtfully made each one. If you are hosting an event this would be an ideal location. 3 floors are available, each space unique. It was also charming to learn that they play music to their barrels to enhance the flavor of their creations. We are looking forward to visiting again, hopefully for brunch! More...
This place is amazing. I loved the layout and sustainability. Our tour guide, Macy, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We were able to try many different types of brandy, gin, and absinthe. I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. The upstairs bar and skyline view was the absolute best part. You will not be disappointed. More...
Butchertown Porktoberfest in Copper and Kings' courtyard was a wonderful venue on a warm October evening with Moondance providing the entertainment. Neo Soul concert featuring Maestro J and Next Level was a great concert. The show was amazing, the venue was beautiful you couldn't have asked for better weather. The staff took care of us in high Style. I loved it will definitely go again and would recommend it. Had a wonderful time at Copper and Kings last night. That was mostly due to the fact the Maestro J was playing. I would go listen to him at the city dump or wherever he was playing. But loved the location as well. Can’t wait to experience the courtyard when it’s warmer. More...

We celebrated the first part of my birthday with a tour of this gorgeous facility. Our tour guide Drew was so knowledgeable and had a passion for what they are creating. He gave us the right amount of information and antidotes on how they make their spirits. The copper holders are valued in the millions and are beautiful. Each area is well thought out. The sprits are aged in bourbon barrels that they play music to 24/7. The vibration makes it a happy drink. I’ve been here before for different events and they do a truly fabulous job. The view of the city from the balcony is spectacular, and I’ve learned they are creating an after hours bar with small plates currently. I can’t wait. At the end, they offer up a tasting of all the spirits they make. It will warm up your insides and make you appreciate the art and science behind the drink. More...

My dad and I were on the first tour of the day today and we had a blast! We didn’t realize music played such a big part in the process at Copper & Kings, and we both connected with that as fellow music lovers.
Our tour guide, Darren, made the experience fun and informative, and we both enjoyed meeting him!
We’ll absolutely be back soon! More...
Darcy made our day!
During a visit to Louisville last week, we dropped in on a neighborhood watering hole where we discovered a couple of captivating craft cocktails made with Copper & Kings brandies and absinthes. The bartender sang the praises of C&K, told us the distillery was nearby, and recommended a tour.
We landed the first tour the next morning and were lucky enough to meet Darci. She was absolutely delightful from the moment we met. Her knowledge of the process and her enthusiasm for C&K's mission are inspiring. Her descriptions were wonderful and her pure joy was irresistible. Thank you for an outstanding experience, Darci! It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
We'll be looking for Copper & Kings in Ohio! More...

Super cool space. Tour guide Darren was great and very knowledgeable. Brandy isn't my favorite but throughly enjoyed touring through the HQ and learning about the distilling process.
This tour and tasting was a delightful surprise! From learning about their ecological efforts to why they play music to their brandy, it was an enjoyable and informative tour. I would highly recommend this tour and tasting. You can even bottle your own brandy, that's not sold outside the distillery, to take home with you. More...
I loved the jazz Saturday, nice outdoor space
Great atmosphere!! Very very nice!!!
An amazing place!
Love it we love it will like to go back.
Great atmosphere always a grown people affair. Staff is friendly and provides good services.
Live just a few miles from Copper and Kings and finally went for our first visit. And....so glad we did. From the first moment on site the vibes are great. The entire "complex" is beautifully and ecologically designed. Our tour was thorough and informative and it is obvious that those that work at this Rock and Rollish Brandy distillery love what they do. Tastings offered at the end of the tour let you choose from their lineup of brandys to gin to absinthe. Was thrilled to learn of the community events that they host throughout the year. You can be sure that we will be attending many in the near future. So glad they are my neighbors!!9/15/2018A late night at our first Copper and Kings "event". A nite of Neo Soul and Jazz in the outdoor court yard. VIP tickets for two ran us $75...that got you a table and one glass of Brandy spiked sangria per person. Next time around I will opt for the $15 general admission tickets..there are enough places to sit of you get there early. We arrived at 7:45 for an 8pm show which didn't begin until shortly after 9pm. Seems most people knew the music started later as the majority of the audience began arriving at 8:45. The music was vibrant, loud, with good sound and an interesting electrified violin..what a great sound! Band took one break and played until 11:45, ending with a great rendition of Purple Rain. Drinks are available throughout the evening - $7 cocktails, $5 beers. The chairs are not conducive to a bad back and for $75 one would have hoped for either a clean table or a table cloth.C&Ks has at least one special event a month. Next weekend it the Rocky Horror Picture Show.If you haven't been to an outdoor event at C&K I will tell you that you should. Music, drinks, even a visit up to the roof top garden, makes for a really pleasurable evening. There is ample parking across the street. More...

The tour of Copper & Kings was fantastic. Very professional tour guides, learned a lot about brandy and gin making, as well as, history of local area. Sonic ageing of the brandy is pretty unique. Great tunes for the developing liquors.Really enjoyed the absinthe, very smooth and comforting. Lots of depth and complexity. Came back a couple days later to enjoy the 3rd floor bar and deck with a great view of downtown Louisville. Specialty cocktails we're fantastic, especially enjoyed the Side Car and Negroni.Well worth the visit. I had a amazing time Copper & Kings one cool cool place a must visit
Very cool. Not your typical distillery
Very nice tour, knowledgeable employees. Good experience that was a little different than the bourbon tours.
Darrin was great. Loved the personal attention we were given. The detail of this distillery history was unique and we are so glad we didn’t miss it. Thanks for the great tour.
Super tour of a quality producer of Brandy, Gin and absinthe
These guys have (very quietly) opened up an absolutely fantastic bar on their rooftop. I assume they're doing a "soft open" to optimize things before they publicize it, but having a friend in the industry I was given a tip to go visit. THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING!! Some of the best craft cocktails I've ever had. Beautiful views, beautiful space. They don't really offer food, just charcuterie plates, but that's a good thing in my opinion; keep it simple. I'm concerned that it will be hard to get a table once the rest of the city wises up to what these guys have going on. Will definitely be going back. More...

Tour was very informational. Tried absinthe for the first time here—was thoroughly impressed! Will be back for sure.

An amazing change-of-pace from the usual bourbon tour.Beautiful facility and extremely knowledgable guides.
