A super cool, almost hidden venue with some awesome talent and really great drink specials. My boyfriend and I caught jazz night on Thursday -- the band was incredibly talented, and the venue was intimate with great acoustics. Cute venue in the Anaheim Packing District. This is located at the bottom level in the very corner of the Packing District. Cute venue for small intimate gatherings. The brunch was fun! They had DJ lexakahn who kept the party going!!! Andrea, the chef cooks amazing food! The avocado toast was good. They have mix and match of mimosas, bloody Mary's and another drink( I cannot remember) that you can mix match for an extra  $15 if you order an entree. However, be warned, they don't advertise it, but it's only for two hours for the unlimited drinks for $15. We asked for the refill and they turned us down for the mimosas saying it would be $12 per glass since we extended our limitations, but I do not remember them advertising the two hour limitations. I can't believe our wedding has come and gone! But thank you so much for Cook's Chapel, Liz, and Stephanie for helping make our day special! Everyone was so helpful and informative. The venue was clean and beautiful. Working with our vendors was flawless.If I could do it all over again I would pick Cooks Chapel again and again! When in inquiring their response is quick which I truly appreciated as a nervous and neurotic bride! I would definitely recommend working with a restaurant in the Anaheim Packing District, I feel like they work together so smoothly it's like having a venue and a caterer all in one.The beer and wine selections were ON POINT - no need to worry about your guests not having enough choices! My wife and I had our wedding at Cooks Chapel on November 3rd and it was beyond perfect in every way. We fell in love with the venue after attending a jazz night there last year and knew it was the right place for us and the vibe we were going for. It was intimate, laid back, and beautiful - the space itself looks great as is and doesn't need an abundance of decor to make it shine. We had 96 guests in total and the space was just the right size for everyone to comfortably enjoy themselves, mingle, and dance for hours. The venue manager, Stephanie, was so wonderful and helpful - especially during the wedding day and weeks leading up to the wedding. She was super responsive and was always there to answer any questions we had - we had full faith in her and she delivered! Not only was Cooks the perfect place for the ceremony + reception, but the Packing House itself made for wonderful photo locations and gave our guests lots of opportunities to explore as they switched the room for the reception. A lot of our guests kept complimenting the space throughout the night and telling us how much they loved it! Cooks Chapel is such a hidden gem and we couldn't be happier with our decision to have our wedding there. All of the details came together perfectly and we wouldn't have had our wedding any other way. To anyone who is considering Cooks for your wedding or reception - DO IT, GIRL. It's a small gem within the heart of the packing house. Ambient lighting adorns the room comfortably while the simple but charming room is decorated with a minimalist mindset. The jazz music fills the room perfectly; it's quite the experience when the time comes around. Pour yourself a glass of wine and enjoy the show with good time accompanied by friends or family. We booked Cooks Chapel for our pre-wedding event.  Sort of a welcome dinner/party for all of our out of town guests, a lot of which traveled to Anaheim from international locations to attend our wedding.   They also love to party.  So we wanted to throw something a bit more special than just dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.  We also love the Anaheim Packing District to show that there's more to Anaheim than Disneyland.  Everyone loved the venue and the event.  Liz helped a lot in giving us ideas of what's worked and what's not worked previously. Her suggestion of having various packing house vendors cater throughout the night turned out to be a hit.  I wouldn't say it was super easy to contact the various vendors and get everything organized... but with a bit of effort, you can do it!  We had Umami Burger, Urbana, Kroft and Popbar catered at our event.  Each of folks working at these locations that we worked with were experienced at doing events at Cooks Chapel so they really told us what to do LOL!We also had a lovely 2 person live band that we've seen perform at a friend's wedding.  And we did the open bar.I was really nervous b/c I couldn't really attend the event myself so I could make sure everything went according to plan. But Liz and her team, as well as each of the vendors just worked together and made sure everything happened.  People were full, they were buzzed, and they danced :)  It was fabulous! More...

Cooks Chapel is the a perfect gem in the midst of a bustling packing district. When I first inquired about the use of Cooks Chapel for my event, I had never seen the space in person. When we walked through the cute chapel door on the bottom level of the packing house, through the "cooks chapel" and into the event space, I was SO pleased. The team has done an incredible job of making the space feel equally elegant, inviting, bright, and intimate. Liz and her team were more than helpful and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed every step of the way. We used the space for a music event, where we invited people to listen through an EP, while also playing a few songs live. We had the chairs laid out facing the front and filled the place to max capacity. We never felt smooshed or too crowded. The color scheme of the space makes it so it feels open (which is an incredible accomplishment considering there are no windows!)I would highly recommend the use of Cooks Chapel for any type of event. Liz was a pleasure to work with! The venue was prepared on time, and the staff did a great job making sure everything looked clean and beautiful. This venue is in such a unique and fun location, while guests waited 30 minutes for the room to be flipped from the ceremony to reception, they were able to get ice cream next door or buy a drink at the bar right outside. This is a really cute find for a venue in the busy Anaheim Packing House.  We came here for a wedding reception.  You literally walk into a church looking door to a small room then another door with the venue space on the ground floor. The space is white so you can decorate however you want.  They seem to provide tables and chairs.  The bar is beautiful with many chandeliers above it, very classy.Our event had food catered but you could have food brought in from the restaurants at the Anaheim Packing House.  The sound system seemed really good as well.  It won't really hold more than 125 comfortably so keep that in mind. Also, bathrooms are on the diagonal at the opposite end of the Packing House so it could be a trek and a wait if you need to go bad. More...

Let me start by saying that I LUV The Packing House in Anaheim... and last week I attended a Christmas Party at the Cooks Chapel located on the lower level of the Packing House.  Cook's Chapel is a beautiful boutique venue that is ideal for weddings, parties, socials, meetings and Live Music. I extremely love this space and working with everyone at Cooks Chapel was amazing to work alongside. I greatly appreciated meeting with Liz (the venue manager) and talking through details. She was so helpful and encouraging every step of the way - it made our event that much more special and problem/worry-free. My husband and I booked the venue for our wedding ceremony and reception. The space is already so beautiful with interesting details scattered throughout I really felt like we didn't need to add or do much to decorate. There was a 30-minute turnover between our ceremony and the reception but it all went very smoothly. During the "intermission" we had our guests explore Anaheim Packing District - a fun element I loved incorporating into our program/schedule. The room itself is spacious enough to hold our 125 guests. We kept it pretty simple with the lighting, which we could have used to add more color but we opted for a more mellow yellow tone. We had the "front" of our ceremony face the kitchen side but then had the tables set up for the reception with the head table towards the wall that you face upon entering the room. I loved the cool light fixtures, chandeliers and the all-around pristine look of the space being all white. I loved the available tables and seats as well as the flatware that Cooks Chapel made available for us. Liz really made everything so easy. We did our catering by Georgia's, one of the awesome eateries within the Anaheim Packing District - and since they had done events at Cooks before, it was very easy to set up the details and coordinate together. Since we had our event at Cooks we were also able to take photographs on the premises. Cooks chapel is the most beautiful and affordable location I've found in Orange County. My Fiancé and I have been trying to plan for a budgeted wedding and this is the place we're choosing. Liz is the most accommodating and pleasant person I've encountered in planning my wedding and have met a few of the staff in attending the Jazz night they have on Thursdays. This venue is the perfect blank canvas to any event!  Loved working with Liz, and the staff was so friendly and helpful!  Love the fact that you can bring in your own food from the packing house!  Plus the AC was working like a dream!  The furniture included with the venue rental cost are awesome!  You pay big bucks to rent table and chairs like the ones they provide.  Love this venue! We were married at Cooks Chapel on August 5th, 2017. Cooks Chapel was the best decision we made in regards to our wedding. They were accommodating and understanding. Liz was available to answer all my questions. We had our ceremony inside and within 30 mins started our reception. The waitstaff was friendly and courteous. The bartender was a hit for our wedding. It is best for small weddings. Less than 100 I would say. We had roughly 80 guests and had room for a small dance floor. It is also affordable. Which can not be said for many places. Cooks Chapel has so much natural character and easy to add your own flare. We had a Star Wars wedding with costumed characters. They had a place to change and store their belongings without being disruptive to the Packing House. Our wedding day was truly amazing. It went better than we could have dreamed(we had no planner and put it together ourselves) I don't think I can thank her and the staff enough for helping make our wedding day one to remember. What a treat to have jazz in OC in such a classy and friendly place. Thursdays are the spot to be here when they host jazz ensembles and singers with great talent. It's rare to find a spot in Orange County that allows the jazz genre to have the spotlight. Located in the fun and busy Anaheim Packinghouse, it's definitely a spot you want to get to on time. There is 3dollar valet parking or else you have to take your chance in finding a parking space during the busy dinner hours. Cooks chapel is clean, decorated in white, dim lighting and fancy chandeliers by the bar. The chapel bar offers signature cocktails and a selection of wines. I had a glass of the cab (which was delicious) for just under $10. A place you can come into dressed casually or dressed up for a night out, you simply can't go wrong with its welcoming atmosphere. My husband and I had our wedding reception here on February 18, 2017 and we were over the moon on with the way everything turned out! As a part-time wedding and event planner I'm extremely picky with venues as I've done weddings at the St Regis to private country clubs and everything in between. So for my own wedding reception I wanted a more intimate space that was beautiful as is and all we had to do was give finishing details!The venue itself is GORGEOUS so it was so easy to make our reception beautiful as we didn't need to do much! And Liz was AMAZING!!!!  She is so personable, kind, accommodating, helpful and made our reception perfect! Cook Chapel SAVED our wedding! We booked our venue back in July and long story short, the venue was closed down. We were so upset and terrified that we wouldn't find something. We are SO SO happy that Cooks was available and we actually LOVE this venue more than our original one. Liz is amazing to work with. Within one week we were booked at cooks. Came across an event they were having on good ol' Insta. Thought it would be a fun and different experience on a Friday night.  A little secret place, hidden behind the wine bar- as the doors open, it takes you to this open space, nicely lit with multiple chandlers at the bar to the left and kitchen on the right. There were two long, community tables that were decorated in rustic chic set for dinner. We were served 4 beautiful courses by Chef Chris and wine to pair! He came out at the beginning of each course to share the ingredients and inspiration behind it. The service was fabulous! Everyone was oh so friendly and efficient and I couldn't ask for anything more. I came one other time for Jazz night and that was a lot of fun too! Jazz night every third thursday of the month. Had a fun experience. Place is well hidden, away from the hustle and bustle of the packing district, which makes for a good venue when you just want to get away and enjoy some drinks and good music. What a wonderful Mother's Day brunch we had at Cook's Chapel in the Anaheim Packing District.  We began by being ushered into a "secret" door near the BXCR wine bar.  The decor and ambiance of the dining area was elegant, yet relaxed.  You felt as if you had entered a cafe in France. We were a group of eight - my daughter, son-in-law, grandson, my son-in-law's parents, his grandmother, and I. There was even a special framed note with our names printed in gold, wishing us a Happy Mother's Day. The food was wonderful!  We started with two kinds of quiche and fresh fruit.  The main meal consisted of a green salad, country potatoes, and croque madame.  I would have to say though, my favorite part of the brunch was the bottomless mango mimosas and the OMG bar for dessert!  I am so looking forward to attending another special event here and will recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a unique place to have a wedding reception, or birthday, or business event.  Thank you for such a memorable day! It was our lucky night tonight. A friend of mine is leaving California for the East Coast and she wanted to celebrate the move at the Anaheim Packing District. We were invited into this little hole in the wall, literally we wouldn't have seen this place without being invited to come in. The door blends in very well with the surrounding walls. It's a small multipurpose type room that gets rented for events. But on the first and third Thursdays of the month, there's a live jazz band! The jazz band was great tonight! Awesome musical selections and they sounded fantastic.There's a small cocktail menu, each cocktail $12. I had the Irish Whiskey Old Fashion. Great drink, but didn't get much of the orange I expected. Must have been an old orange? Oh well. Overall, great experience. The decor is practically all white and a bit eclectic and unique in its own way. Definitely will try to come back for another jazz evening.Beware of parking! It gets very packed and the Packing District lot is very small, but they have valet parking for $3, which really isn't that bad if you don't want walk. If you're on a budget, you may want to check out the street parking, which is also limited. I'd pocket the $3 for my drinks and food. There's another parking lot on the street east of the Packing District. Head south of the Packing District and it will be on the West side of the street. That's probably another 50 spots there.
