I never thought we would have issues with our two terriers when our second pup came home as they got on like a house on fire, but 2 years down the line we started having issues with resource guarding and aggression from our eldest. This resulted in some nasty fights but we sought Liz’s advice quite early with the hope to nip it in the bud. After our first consultation we felt really positive and well equipped to deal with our problem; her advice made complete sense and we are now working at putting her hints and tips into practice. It’s still very early days but Liz has been on hand for on-going support since her visit and we will definitely be having another visit at some point with a hope to get our dogs walking nicely together. I cannot recommend Liz enough, she came out at such short notice and was absolutely fantastic!! After her initial visit she is there every step of the way for phone calls and advice. We contacted Cookridge Canine Care to see whether they could help us to treat our dog Lola’s obsessive behaviour with spinning/chasing her tail, after years of going back and forth with her from the vets for various tests and treatments. From the start Liz was incredible. She came back to us straight away, put us at ease and arranged a consultation. She was really good with Lola and got to work straight away trying to help us to get to the bottom of why she does it and what we could do to distract her. Although it has only been a few months Lola is doing so much better given the direction and support of Liz and our personalised behaviour modification programme. This is Lola this morning, completely chilled out and relaxed with her big brother Eric - we hope with continued training she will be back to her happy healthy self and her unwanted behaviour will subside. Following a chance encounter, Liz has completely transformed Serge from a timid and unsociable dog into the well behaved family pet we hoped he could be. We have been using Liz's services at Cookridge Canine Care since Winnie, our three year old German short haired pointer has been a puppy. Liz, and her lovely black labrador Bessie, have been an invaluable help to us providing excellent care and support. Winnie thoroughly enjoys her visits to CCC where we know she will be exercised, well cared for, happy and safe. Liz has helped and advised us on several behavioural issues that Winnie has exhibited as she has been growing up. These include, over boisterous play with other dogs, jumping up at people, joggers and bikes etc, raiding bins, unnecessary barking, pulling on the lead and general over excitement. With Liz's patience and understanding (towards both myself and Winnie) we have overcome these issues and Winnie is maturing into an adorable family dog. Many thanks Liz and Bessie. More...

Bonnie has been going for doggy daycare twice a week since she was 12 weeks old and she loves it! Bonnie drags me in to greet Liz in a morning and is always happy to see her doggy friends. She comes home happy and shattered! Bonnie is booked in for an overnight stay shortly too. I would definitely be happy leaving Bonnie for a longer stay whilst we went on holiday as I'd be safe in the knowledge that she would be having a wonderful time too. More...
