I was originally going to wait to post a review until I had a couple photos to go along with it, but I honestly can’t wait! Jeff and Jenn shot our wedding last weekend at the Farm at South Cove in Lunenburg, and I can’t believe how incredible they were! They both have the best personalities, making all of us feel comfortable, they are such kind and warm people! I have no idea when it comes to photography, but you could very quickly see that they sure did! The shots they were getting were so beautiful, capturing moments and even going into the ocean haha! Our dog has been in our lives since the beginning so he’s an important part of us and immediately max loved them and I could tell they had the same love for dogs! I honestly felt like we invited Jeff and Jenn to come to our wedding as friends! It was important to me to have the best photos for years to come and to still feel the “feels” we all felt on the night of!! Jeff and Jenn are so good at capturing the real raw moments without being intrusive! Not to mention they were able to work with my awkward non-model self!! Jeff shot our wedding in February, and his authentic shooting tells the story of our day, evening, night, feelings, and moments, so genuinely. He captured how that day made us feel, not just pretty poses- although there were no lack of those! I can go through our photos and re-live all these amazing big and small moments that meant so much to us. Our experience with Jenn Nauss and Jeff Cooke was a highlight of our wedding day. Not only were our photos beyond gorgeous and so meaningful in every way- they both captured the day so well, they were a joy to work with, a pleasure to hang out with and just 'got' our vibe almost like they were guests who would've been invited to the wedding anyways! ;) In addition to amazing shots of us on our special day, we are particularly grateful for all of the amazing shots of our guests. It’s like we are watching a documentary of the day in stills. Jeff and Jenn are very friendly and easy to work with. We met up ahead of time to discuss our goals and visions, and they followed through as planned. They used their own creative ideas, but were also able to incorporate ours. They were able to capture the posed and unscripted moments perfectly. Jeff and Jen have been amazing since day one! Right from the first phone call I was put at ease and excited to work with them. They captured our vision and shared it perfectly. The quality of their photos is of course well above standard. They are incredibly creative and made sure we would have unique wedding photos to be proud of. Jen and Jeff are also wonderful and personable people. They made us feel welcome, and they clearly demonstrate a passion for their art. Another fun fact - Jeff is VERY tall and even though I come from a family of super short people, he STILL managed to blend in with the crowd so well that he was able to get sneak photos that captured us in emotional or candid moments. These are the memories I will cherish, and he captured a lasting keepsake of them. We had SO much fun at our VERY rainy and stormy wedding and Jen and Jeff were the best sports. We felt beyond lucky to (just by pure luck) have found Jeff and Jenn for our crazy wedding fiesta weekend in Tulum, Mexico! !! When we started researching photographers that would come and join us south of the border, it was our small hope to find people who did great work and that would get along with everyone. And then WOW. They just completely blew our small expectations out of the water (no pun intended). They did not just add to the weekend, they MADE the weekend!! They both acted as an artistic, calming force and presence all the while getting so many insane shots with giving little direction or without constantly telling people where to be, stand and look. Every single guest/friend/family member said so many amazing things about who they are as people which made it feel like they were just our invited amigos who happened to have some cameras. They absolutely put their whole hearts (and equipment!!) into what they do and their photos speak for themselves. They captured so many candid moments in the most awe-inspiring manner and illustrated the magic and beauty that these particular moments in life have to offer. All of the photos are stunning. We are so grateful to have had the best damn weekend of our lives that brought us this talented pair and now lifelong friends. We love you guys!! More...

For my boudoir shoot, Jeff completely knocked it out of the park with his skills (which are amazing and what he can do with a camera is just plain impressive). I left the studio so excited for the next time i get to work with him. His style is more like a friend then a person I never met taking my photos. My experience was amazing and what he did for me is amazing and i can not say it enough and i just want the world to know that the quality of Jeff's work is amazing and his kind heart is hard to not just want to get to know, he is an excellant person with a wife who's one lucky lady. Thanks so so so much Jeff.. you are amazing. I highly recommend Jeff for your wedding or boudoir photography. You really won't be disappointed and he'll wow you with every image he captures. Jeff Cooke was the photographer for a friends wedding in CB this past summer and he did a pretty swell job I have to say! I find that wedding photos can occasionally give me the urge to become physically sick . Rather than capturing what should already be a pretty grand moment in anyone's life, some wedding photo peeps seem to err on the side of: lets tell a story. example: my husband walked behind that tree and is now peeking back at me, which is causing me to grin merrily. Isn't the WEDDING the story? Do you really need situational props beyond the whole white dress, tux, combo? There's also the slew of wedding photos that are just plain awkward: anyone so drunk that a stomach pump could conceivably have been involved, anyone so happy they're sobbing, wardrobe malfunctions and well... you get the gist. For these reasons and many more I was really happy to see what an awesome job Jeff did! He totally read the vibe of the couple involved and got the sort of shots that will be supremely memorable for them, as individuals as opposed to just relying on the sentimentality that I assume anyone would feel reminiscing and peering at their own wedding photos. Jeff also had a photo booth concept going towards the end of the night that was part guest entertainment/part a cool montage of well wishes.I would definitely recommend Jeff for your next shindig!
