Was extremely impressed with Connells Estate Agents. At the first viewing we were greeted by Daniel who was very smart in appearance and presentable. He showed us around the property and answered all our questions in a very friendly and genuine manner (which has been very difficult to find with most agents in bristol!) He also went out of his way to keep us in the loop of the progress of our application and other properties that might suit our needs, it made the whole process of looking for a property a lot less stressful! a really trustworthy agent and agency! From start to finish our dealings with Donna Stonelake have been fantastic. Not only did we gain our dream family home we gained a friend. My daughter loves her and would want to go and see her just for the cuddles.Donna has the best customer service approach that I have ever experienced. She is kind, friendly, honest and very approachable and does everything in her power to help you. We were new to the area and as such tried many different rental agencies. Dan at this branch was by far the best agent we encountered. He not only listened to what we wanted, he acted proactively upon it. He took us to relevant viewings (unlike some estate agents who left us wondering if Bristolians spoke a different language), he also had the foresight to bring keys to other properties that he thought might be of interest. This proved fruitful as we rented one of these properties. He was helpful in answering any and all our queries in regards to contracts etc. Dan even stayed late to facilitate hand over. We have just moved into a rented place through Connells. Our letting agent Emily was very professional and helpful. There were a few minor issues when moving in but these were mostly resolved quickly. We could not move in on the date we originally intended due to extended maintenance works on the house. However Emily kept in close communication regarding this and sorted it such that we could at least move our stuff in on the original date. It was also nice to see that maintenance was being done to the place before moving in and it did look good when finished.The previous tenants left some furniture and Emily organised for this to be removed which I thought was a nice touch.However, we were told the flat would be professionally cleaned yet the kitchen was quite dirty in places when we moved in. I have rented a few properties in the past, but this particular Connells agency in Westbury on Trym was first rate in terms of genuine willingness to actually put the customers needs as a high priority. You feel they really want to look after you as a tentant, which made me and my wife feel at ease. We were first met by one of the employees Emily. And from the minute we met her she was bubbly and very outgoing and made us feel very comfortable. She also knew exactly what she was doing and seemed very empathic towards us and our situation that we wanted to move in quickly. Connells Westbury did everything they could do move us in quickly. When Emily got back to office I was contacted by Matt in regards to referencing and the overall application, he was also friendly, and paitient and understanding and seemed very knowledgeable. Our situation was that we have a new born baby and we needed a quick turn around time. Matt and Emily left no stone overturned and was relentless in contacted us to get us into our new property as soon as possible. We used this agent to sell a very large and complicated house with a very small market. We'd been trying to sell our house with numerous agents for 7 years and none of them understood how to explain to their clients how big it was and loads of time was wasted. Connells were very quick and clear while providing their service and we were supported all the way through.
