Q&As

Witnessing people evolve from zero mobility and zero activities to having something to look forward to and enjoy being part of is the best part of our job. We support people to take positive risk and empower them to do normal things other people within their age group would normally do. It may be done differently but nonetheless, this can and should be done with everyone.

The need to provide a service that fitted around what the client requires and not ask anyone to buy a service that is restrictive. My social work training and a knack for social justice is a key element of what drives the appetite to fight for other rights including access to funding that otherwise they may never have been given. Information is powerful and often than not, this is not well disseminated to vulnerable people. Connect 2 Flexicare takes up more than just the caring side, we provide you with any useful information including actioning external referrals accordingly.

Because we provide care and support that meets them at the point of their needs and not the other way round. We go beyond care and with us, it is personal.

Services

We provide 1:1 support in various settings but mainly in client's own home. This support can be as flexible as required to meet all identified needs.
The minimum hours we provide per single visit is 4 hours.

Providing care in a home environment where the carer comes to live with the person who needs support. This can also be useful as a respite option for a minimum period of one week. The cost of this service varies depending on the needs and requirements of the client.
