Karen came to photograph our wedding yesterday! She was the most energetic, fantastic and passionate person. Karen fulfilled the description we asked for perfectly. We asked for natural shots of people just being themselves and she really went above and beyond anything we could of expected. Karen really was the perfect photographer for our special day. I am yet to see the final shots but those I have seen already are perfect. Both family and friends commented about what a lovely professional approach she had. Karen did such an amazing job for my parents 80th. It exceeded expectations 100 fold. The result has captured the essence of our family and words can't describe what a treasure this will be. In actual fact though even if the result was awful it was still worth doing, as the actual process of Karen taking photos was such a memorable fun experience, and Karen became part of our family for the morning! We first had a photo shoot with Karen last year in the summer on the beach. In all honesty we were both dreading it as we aren’t ‘posey’ type people and when we do it’s normally a few strategically placed bunny ears and silly faces.
We met Karen at the beach, and what ensued after was laughter induced belly ache, and just flowing conversation. We were then sent some of the images and we were gobsmacked with what she had captured.
She captured our naturally playful characters but also the tender love that we share between us and our daughter.

After this, naturally we asked Karen to photograph our daughter’s naming ceremony, as we wanted her to capture those same organic raw moments, with little to no posing. My god did she deliver! The photos were absolutely stunning, and we proudly display them in our home - as do many of our family members.
Karen spent the day with us, capturing small moments which would have become lost otherwise. She wasn’t imposing, she was polite, great fun, knowledgable, relaxing, and very professional. All the things you would seek when choosing a photographer.

We used Karen again for our daughter’s first birthday, which was a cake smashing affair. Anyone with kids and food will know that this would be a challenge for anyone, but Karen took it all in her stride. Our daughter was very relaxed in her company, so the photos ultimately reflected this.
Karen also took some extra photos of special presents and the all important cake (before and after the smash) and these looked stunning. She has such an eye for the tiniest detail and with her creativity she just astounded us.
Again the quality of the photos, the naturalness, and her professionalism were second to none.

*** Our Wedding Blessing *** As a photographer myself for the last 15 years, started planning my Wedding Blessing for next year, i thought it would be difficult choosing a photographer, not liking my photo being taken, but wanted the day capture, been following Kaz and her photography for a while now, and i love her style and WOW she has a fantastic eye for photography and capturing moments in time, i was worried as a photographer i would need to keep any eye on what photos were being taken, and keep nudging the photographer to do this and watch that, but now i don't have to, i know Kaz will see it and capture it, so i can relax on the day and be a bride, not a photographer, i am super excited about Kaz photographing our Blessing, this lovely professional lady is going to go from strength to strength, i love seeing her work pop up on my FB feed, Confetti Coast Photography is a name to watch out for, and will be honoured to say she capture special memories for us xxxx
